Udne Ki Aasha 7th September 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Akash lost in thoughts about his family. Riya encourages him to be present in the moment and enjoy it. Meanwhile, Sayali notices the wedding timings written on a board and wonders whose wedding Juhi is attending inside. She rushes to find out. As Akash and Riya begin the wedding rituals, Akash fills sindoor in Riya’s *maang*. Sayali enters the scene and is shocked by what she sees. She demands to know what’s happening and scolds Akash for betraying her trust. She expresses her disappointment, saying she always thought he was a responsible person, but he took this major step without considering the family.
Riya tries to explain, saying she understands Sayali’s concerns. However, Sayali, frustrated, asks how someone as educated as Riya could make such a decision. Sayali then turns to Juhi, scolding her for being part of the plan. She accuses Juhi of lying, saying she had made the *varmalas* for her customers, only for Juhi to give them to Akash and Riya for their secret wedding.
Sayali continues to reprimand Juhi, but Akash intervenes, asking Sayali to leave Juhi alone, insisting it’s not her fault. However, Sayali doesn’t relent and continues to blame Juhi. Akash pleads with her to stop, repeating that Juhi is not to blame. Sayali, still furious, says that Kaka will be heartbroken when he learns about the wedding. She goes on to lecture Akash about his actions, feeling betrayed by everyone involved. Akash tries to explain, saying they had no other choice but to get married.
Sayali, however, is not convinced and asks if he had even tried to talk to Paresh about it. She questions why Akash rushed into the marriage without attempting to convince Paresh first. Akash responds that Sachin would never have agreed to his relationship with Riya. Sayali, angry, tells him not to speak badly about Sachin.
Meanwhile, Sachin is stuck on the road, calling a mechanic for help as his car has broken down. Back at the wedding, Sayali reminds Akash that Sachin married her on Paresh’s request, and they have been happy together. She points out that Sachin trusted Akash and that he should have been more responsible. She adds that Kaka will never forgive him for this and that she will call Sachin to come and handle the situation. Feeling deceived, she accuses Akash of using her to get her to the wedding.
Akash tries to explain, swearing on Bappa that he never intended to trick her. He tells her that this is a significant day for him, but he feels alone. Sayali, however, insists that his actions cannot be justified. Sachin tries calling Sayali, but she doesn’t answer. Riya steps forward, explaining that she and Akash wanted Sayali’s blessing and support, which is why she had asked Akash to bring Sayali to the wedding, even if it meant lying.
Sayali, still hurt, responds that Riya clearly doesn’t know her well. Riya then reveals that she had told Juhi that Sayali would make their *varmalas*. Akash pleads once more, asking how he could break Riya’s trust after she left her family for him. He says he loves Riya deeply. Riya adds that she knows Sayali has true feelings for Sachin, just like her love for Akash is true. She begs Sayali to give them her blessing.
Just then, the *pandit* asks if there’s a problem, and Sayali reveals that Akash and Riya are marrying without their family’s knowledge. The *pandit* says he wasn’t aware of that. Akash and Riya proceed to sign the wedding papers, and they ask Sayali to sign as a witness. Sayali, feeling conflicted, asks if they’re joking and accuses them of using her. She finds herself torn, unsure of what to do.
