Kumkum Bhagya 30th October 2024 Written Episode Update

The episode opens with Deepika asking Monisha if her injury is still bothering her. Monisha replies that it obviously is. Deepika mentions she needs to wake up early and plans to go to sleep now. Monisha asks her to wake her up in the morning. Deepika explains that she is fasting, and questions why Monisha wants to wake up early. Monisha claims she will also fast, so it’s her sargi too. Harleen overhears their conversation. Monisha notices her and says she was about to tell her in the morning. Harleen replies, but Monisha interrupts, stating that before RV and Poorvi’s marriage, she would have kept a fast for RV. Harleen points out that the situation has changed now. Monisha continues, saying she heard RV asking Poorvi not to keep the fast, questioning their relationship. She insists that they are not husband and wife and asks Harleen to let her keep the fast for RV. Harleen responds that she has no issue with that and will prepare sargi for Monisha as well. Monisha cheekily says that next year she will call her Maa. Deepika expresses surprise at how quickly Harleen agreed. Monisha explains that aunty loves her. Deepika raises a concern about Poorvi possibly objecting tomorrow. Monisha confidently states that RV and Poorvi are divorced now, and he is about to marry Neha. With that, she goes to sleep. Deepika hopes everything turns out alright.

RV asks Poorvi to take her medicine, reminding her that she is not fasting. He emphasizes the importance of eating on time if she takes her medication. Poorvi looks at him, prompting him to bring a paper and pen. She asks why he needs them, and he suggests writing a thank you note. Poorvi admits she finds it hard to express her gratitude. He tells her they can continue their conversation later and insists she takes her medicine first. As he helps her, he inquires why she couldn’t thank him just now, pointing out her discomfort. Poorvi explains that when someone helps her, it’s not easy to say thank you. He urges her to rest, and she thanks him sincerely, saying if it weren’t for him, she wouldn’t be here to see him. She hugs him in gratitude. RV reassures her that she is safe with him and nothing will happen to her. He expresses his happiness that they are together like before. She thanks him again from the bottom of her heart. RV playfully notes that she has thanked him five times and questions if something is bothering her. She pleads with him not to make her laugh due to her body ache. RV tells her to save her laughter for later and to rest. He gently makes her lie down on the bed and instructs her to stay there. She suggests he should sleep if he is tired. RV remarks that Diya is right about her being self-centered and takes a seat beside her bed, asking her to close her eyes or he will leave.

Chachi vents her frustrations to Chacha about their nephew. Chacha asks Jassi what he did wrong. Jassi defends that he hasn’t done anything and insists on swearing to Chachi. She retorts that he should take her fake oath instead. Jassi declares that he regards her more than his own mother, and Chachi accuses him of taking her wrong oath. Chacha cautions him that the matter concerns their family and politics. They leave, and Jassi feels overwhelmed by Chacha and Chachi’s antics. He wonders if he should let Poorvi go because of their fears, but resolves that he will get her back and stick to his plan. He repeats his mantra: lose life but never lose Poorvi. Determined, he plans to win her back. Poorvi wakes up early the next morning, thinking about her mother making sargi. She decides to fast for RV’s long life, believing she can do anything for him. She goes to change her clothes.

Vikrant complains to Jaswant about making sargi at night, stating that he didn’t get enough sleep. Jaswant explains it’s a long-standing tradition. Vikrant suggests they follow their father’s example and let him sleep. Dadu chastises them, mentioning he has been with Dadi since her first karwachauth. The ladies gather, and Dadi explains the significance of sargi and the fast for Karwachauth, noting that the mother-in-law blesses her daughter-in-law and provides suhaag items. She mentions that if the mother-in-law doesn’t give sargi, a sister or sister-in-law can do so. Dadi hands sargi to Vaishali and Harleen. Harleen, in turn, gives sargi to Deepika and Monisha. Poorvi enters and they question her presence. She says she came to see what’s happening. Quietly, she takes sargi from Monisha’s plate, catching Monisha’s attention. RV arrives and asks if he missed anything. They assure him he did not. The men of the house begin to bicker. Harleen interjects, saying that Beeji/Dadi has enlightened them about the importance of sargi. Vikrant claims he came just to listen. RV spots Poorvi and asks what she’s doing there, reminding her that the doctor advised her to rest. Poorvi responds that she merely wanted to see the sargi. RV insists she go back to her room to rest. Monisha thinks to herself that this proves RV belongs to her and plans to oust Poorvi from RV’s life so they can become husband and wife.
