Jagriti

Jagriti 28th October 2024 Written Episode Update

The episode begins with Jagriti and Akash sneaking into the police station through a window. Inspector Singh calls out, asking who is there. Akash expresses his worry, fearing they will get caught. Jagriti reassures him, urging him not to be scared and imitates a wolf’s howl. The constables panic and rush outside, leaving Inspector Singh behind. They step out and inform Amol that a wolf is inside. Amol instructs Gita to stay in the car with Sapna, and Gita takes Sapna into the vehicle. Jagriti checks on Akash, who confirms he is okay. Amol enters and reprimands Inspector Singh. Kalikant arrives, brandishing a gun. Amol notices the scattered files and tells the Inspector that this was done by someone. The Inspector points out that all the windows are closed. Akash and Jagriti quickly hide under a table. Kalikant calls Amol and whispers something. Jagriti quietly slips out and jumps down from the window. Amol glances at the window. Akash remains hidden under the table, still watching him. Jagriti distracts Amol and shuts another window. The Inspector fires his gun outside. Jagriti makes a run for it. As everyone rushes to the other window, Akash jumps down and they escape. Bindi is in pursuit. A constable mentions that Chitta’s file is missing, prompting Kalikant to demand an explanation from Amol. Gita arrives and asks for clarification. Jaggu and Akash are fleeing when Bindi calls for Jaggu, causing them to stop. Gita inquires about the Chitta files. Amol explains they contain records of their crimes. He tells her to take Sapna home, as he cannot take her to the jungle safari today.

Bindi calls out to Jaggu but finds them missing, wondering where they could have gone. Meanwhile, Akash and Jaggu make their way into the jungle. Akash examines the files and realizes they are not the ones they were looking for. Jaggu prays to Ram Ji, questioning where they can find the correct files. A constable hands over the Chitta file. Amol confronts Kalikant, questioning why he collects the Chitta’s fingerprints since India abolished this practice after the British left, arguing that this file cannot be presented in court. Kalikant responds, acknowledging that they are not criminals, but insists that they are unaware of his intentions, referring to himself as their “bhagya vidhaata.” He claims that this illusion must not be shattered.

Jaggu and Akash return home. Jamuna asks where they have been. Akash explains he took Jaggu with him for a school project. Jaggu smiles at this. Jamuna then instructs Jaggu to clean the cowshed. Just then, Kalikant arrives and is about to inspect Akash’s bag when Gayatri enters, asking him to get ready for the Dhanteras puja. Kalikant hands her the Chitta file, requesting her to keep it safe. Gayatri agrees. Bindi visits the haveli and insists on meeting Jaggu. Amol invites her inside, telling her to wait.

Akash notices Dadi placing the file away. Later, he sneaks in and takes the Chitta file, causing all the other files to tumble off the shelves. Jamuna walks in, and Akash claims that the files fell, asking her to call the Chitta girl to help clean up. Jamuna calls for Jaggu, telling her to put the files back. Jaggu examines the files and discovers their fingerprints. Kalikant performs the aarti. Akash quietly approaches Jaggu. She asks him what is written in the file. Akash shows her Harish’s thumbprint and reads the details aloud, stating that he is a born criminal.
