Iss Ishq Ka Rabb Rakha 28th October 2024 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with everyone participating in the roka ceremony for Adrija. Ranbir arrives and smiles upon seeing Meghla. Kamal comments that he has missed the ceremony. Simran chimes in that they’ve still come on time. Meghla invites them to join. As Ranbir enters, he spots Adrija on the stage, looking confused. Mahua asks if they lost their way. Param confirms, and Harman introduces himself as Ranbir’s elder brother, accompanied by his wife, Simran, who compliments Adrija. Meghla urges Ranbir to take a seat, and Chandan mentions that the rituals are about to conclude. Ranbir then insists he has something important to say.
Chandan prompts him to share. Meher interjects, stating she knows he might be making excuses, urging the roka ceremony to continue. Diljot agrees, saying he arrived late. Ranbir, however, persists, expressing his need to understand why they are proceeding with Adrija’s ceremony. Meher, confused, asks what he means. Ranbir explains that perhaps it’s his fault for not communicating effectively, suggesting that everything has gone awry.
Zoravar asks for clarity, noting it’s already late. Chandan reassures everyone is happy, emphasizing that their daughter will be content in Ranbir’s home, but wonders why Ranbir refers to this as a mistake. Meghla, noticing Ranbir’s distress, offers to fetch him some juice. He stops her, holding her hand, and insists she cannot leave.
Mahua, trying to lighten the mood, says Meghla won’t go anywhere and suggests they listen to her song. Harman agrees, mentioning he has heard her sing and looks forward to her performance after the roka. Mahua adds that Meghla is just a bit shy. Meher tells Ranbir to discuss his concerns later, reminding him that Adrija is waiting. Ranbir replies that the order of the ceremony must change.
Meher asks what changes he suggests. Harman inquires what he means. Param observes that Ranbir seems overly tense as if a significant blunder has occurred. Harman presses Ranbir to clarify. Mahua, growing anxious, wonders if they have made a mistake. Chandan and Adrija share the same concern. Ranbir insists he is trying to explain that it’s his fault, and he didn’t plan this day with Adrija, but rather with Meghla, shocking everyone.
Adrija is visibly upset. Mahua and Chandan demand to know what he means. Adrija, in disbelief, removes her dupatta and accuses him of making a joke at her expense, feeling humiliated in front of everyone. Meghla defends her sister, stating Adrija has self-respect. Ranbir reassures Adrija that he never intended to insult her and that this is a misunderstanding that they can correct. In frustration, Adrija tosses her necklace aside and sits down, crying. Ranbir admits he has strong feelings for Meghla, believing Adrija had understood this, which is why he hadn’t been clear. He then asks if Meghla can become his life partner.
Meghla chastises Ranbir for hurting Adrija. She declares that while she is simple, she is not weak, and she has treated him with respect, questioning why he would think marriage is a trivial matter. Adrija has invested her emotions in him; can he truly return her love? Meghla confronts Ranbir, asking if she ever gave him any indication of her feelings. She expresses that he is embarrassing both her and Adrija. Ranbir responds that he merely expressed what he feels, leaving the decision to Meghla on what she wants to do next.
