Guru tells Devika that he will not allow Kritika to remain the daughter-in-law of this house after what she did to his daughter. Devika realizes she must evoke pity from Guru, or her plan will collapse. She explains to Guru that she’s working hard to keep the family together, despite the ongoing issues, and reminds him of Teerth’s actions towards Kritika. Guru comforts her, calling her his “superwoman,” assuring her not to worry.
Chandrakanth and Geetanjali join them, with Chandrakanth affirming that Devika is not only Guru’s superwoman but also the superwoman of their household. He encourages Devika not to take her father’s words too seriously, clarifying that he spoke in anger and didn’t truly mean it. Devika thanks Chandrakanth for his support, revealing that she made a decision without consulting him: she asked Kritika to remain in their home.
Meanwhile, Bhoomi notices everyone sleeping and feels compelled to confess the truth to Suman—that Rishi didn’t intend to commit suicide, but she accidentally handed him the gasoline bottle instead of the correct one. She sneaks into Suman’s room, but Gulshan intercepts her and takes her outside.
Gulshan confronts Bhoomi, questioning her sanity for attempting to reveal the truth to Suman. He warns her that once Suman learns what really happened, the Mittal family will expel her, Bhoomi will face jail time, Hema will suffer a shock, and Malini will be left in dire straits. Bhoomi wonders why Gulshan is helping her when he has always wanted to undermine their family. Gulshan responds that no one kills a golden goose and advises her to follow his directions if she wishes to keep him from exposing the truth.
Geetanjali shares her concerns with Chandrakanth, stating that Kritika’s presence poses a threat to Suman and Teerth’s relationship. Devika agrees, acknowledging that it was an oversight not to think about this sooner. She resolves to ask Kritika to leave the house immediately, but then pretends to feel unwell. Chandrakanth, falling for her act, scolds Geetanjali and insists that Kritika should stay. Later, Devika speaks with her family, stressing the importance of having Suman come to their house the next day for Teerth’s sake. She convinces Teerth’s family to allow Suman to visit, assuring them that she will handle everything.
Suman catches Gulshan holding Bhoomi’s hand and angrily confronts him, demanding to know how he dares to touch Bhoomi. She grabs a sickle and holds it to Gulshan’s throat, warning him that if he thinks he can pursue the women of the house now that Rishi is dead, he is mistaken. Gulshan insists it’s a misunderstanding, and Bhoomi backs him up, claiming that Gulshan has changed and is there to support their family. Suman remains suspicious of Gulshan and his mother, dragging Bhoomi away. Nevertheless, Gulshan is pleased that Bhoomi has not revealed the truth to Suman and feels confident in executing his plan.
Later, Suman and Bhoomi go to bed.
Devika calls Hema to console her, persuading her to send Suman to the Mittal mansion for the rituals, and Hema agrees.
Devika then massages Geetanjali’s legs, but Geetanjali tells her to stop pretending, saying no one is watching. Devika responds that she’s not pretending but repenting for her sins. She fears that God may be punishing Kritika for her misdeeds and is concerned that something bad may happen to Reva as well. Geetanjali reassures her that Reva will be fine. However, Devika subtly manipulates Geetanjali, suggesting that Suman will ultimately tear the family apart.
