The episode begins with Aaji asking Vaiju how her exam went. Vaiju responds that it was good. Aaji mentions she needs to invite Ranvijay to the Diwali function. Vaiju replies that he is quite busy and reassures Aaji that she will be leaving soon to find a college. Aaji becomes emotional. Vaiju comforts her. Milind enters the scene, and Aaji reiterates her intention to invite Ranvijay. Vaiju thinks to herself that she cannot keep Ranvijay away from Jaya, especially since it’s their first Diwali together. Kaveri stops Ranvijay, insisting that Jaya won’t accompany him. Ranvijay promises to take care of her, but Kaveri reminds him that he hasn’t even called her. He questions her motives, and she urges Jaya not to forgive him. Jaya replies that Ranvijay will manage her. Ranvijay appears concerned. Milind encourages Vaiju to call Ranvijay, and she tries, but finds his line busy. Kaveri mocks Ranvijay as he and Jaya leave. Upon arriving home, everyone is happy to see Jaya. Ranvijay departs. Vasundara tells Jaya never to leave the house again, to which Jaya responds that she won’t, as she missed everyone dearly and can’t live without them. Vasundara hugs her tightly. Milind informs Jaya that she received a call for an admission interview scheduled for tomorrow in Bhoomipur, causing her to worry. Both Vaiju and Ranvijay are lost in thoughts of each other, feeling sad. Milind then calls Ranvijay, assuring him that he has his number. He prompts Vaiju to speak with him, but she abruptly ends the call.

Vaiju makes an excuse for her sudden disconnection. Meanwhile, Ranvijay is also preoccupied with thoughts of Vaiju. Later that night, Ranvijay shows concern for Jaya. She stops him, asking why he looks so worried. He apologizes to her, and she takes his hand, saying she doesn’t want to know any details. They embrace. Ranvijay receives a call from Aaji, who urges him to talk to Vaiju. Vaiju inquires if he is okay, and he responds that he is fine now, all while thinking about how much he misses her. She tells him to take care. Milind reminds Vaiju to prepare for their early departure to Bhoomipur in the morning before leaving. Vaiju contemplates how to express her feelings, thinking about her reluctance to go to her in-laws. Jaya asks Ranvijay about the call, and they both appear worried.
