Lavanya arranges Bal Gopal pooja at home for Jahnvi. Deepika joins the pooja, causing Lavanya to frown. She requests Panditji to allow Jahnvi to perform the pooja and seek blessings. Neelima encourages Deepika to join in as well. Deepika agrees and participates. Lavanya’s frown deepens as she asks Panditji to bless Jahnvi with the hope of having a baby soon. Neelima then asks for blessings for Deepika too. Panditji mentions that God has already blessed her with twins. Mishka enters the scene.
Ashutosh informs the family that today is auspicious because their 50 crore contract has been approved. Lavanya urges him to give the file to Jahnvi and let her place it in front of the idol. Ashutosh suggests that Deepika, as their elder bahu, should handle it instead. Lavanya seethes with anger. Panditji asks everyone to close their eyes and focus on the pooja. They all comply. Manorama records the ceremony on her phone. Mishka silently takes the lamp thread and sets the file ablaze. Her actions are captured on Manorama’s phone. Deepika, noticing the file burning when she opens her eyes, panics and extinguishes the flames with her bare hands.
Lavanya begins her erratic behavior, blaming Deepika for the fire. Deepika protests, stating she had her eyes closed like everyone else, but Lavanya continues to shout at the top of her lungs. Ashutosh announces that the minister won’t be able to sign the contract again as he is heading to London. Lavanya persists in her accusations. Manorama joins in, berating Deepika. Back in her room, Chirag calls Deepika on his way to surgery. Deepika tries to inform him about the day’s incident but hesitates when he mentions being too stressed and needing to relax before the operation. She calms him down with her comforting words. She then glances at her mother’s picture, wishing to look beautiful like her during the Karva Chauth pooja.
Prithvi gets ready for work. Jahnvi insists he stay home to break her fast tonight, but he declines and leaves. Lavanya and others have mehndi applied while cursing Deepika. Jahnvi provokes Lavanya further. Deepika prepares in bridal attire for the ritual. Chirag returns home exhausted and hungry, noticing Ashutosh checking Omkar’s BP. Lavanya tells Chirag that his father’s condition is a result of his wife’s actions, claiming Deepika burnt the 50 crores’ worth business tender file. Chirag refuses to believe her. She insists he can verify with the other family members.
