The episode begins with Armaan expressing his deep love for Abhira, stating that he can’t bear to be away from her. Dadi reminds him that if she has a reason to lie, it must be serious. He agrees but feels that she must share the truth. Armaan wipes away his tears and acknowledges Dadi’s support for Abhira, to which she replies that she understands Abhira’s pain, reflecting their similar situations. Abhira resolves to reveal her truth. Armaan insists that she needs to tell him, as lies have already jeopardized their relationship. Meanwhile, Abhira writes a message on the mirror: “We are pregnant, Armaan…”
Manisha gifts Charu a pair of earrings, and Charu thanks her, commenting on their expense. Manoj advises her not to focus on the price, while Sanjay jokingly notes she would check if the price tag is visible. Manisha throws a playful jab at Sanjay, who insists Charu shouldn’t accept the gift since it’s from a rival firm. This leads to an argument between Sanjay and Manoj. Dadi interrupts, scolding Vidya for showcasing family disputes to the guests.
Dadi asks if everyone is ready for Karwachauth. Manisha admits they haven’t prepared yet, and Dadi questions when they will get started. Charu asks why only wives observe the fast. Dadi explains it’s a sign of devotion; wives fast, and husbands are expected to give lovely gifts and perform puja to strengthen their bond. Abhira reflects on the doctor’s words, realizing Armaan might panic. She decides to speak with the doctor before revealing the truth to him, erasing her message just as Armaan arrives and inquires about it. She lies, and he suggests they get her a new lipstick tomorrow. She expresses her intention to fast for him, and he reciprocates, promising to fast for her as well. They share a hug.
Meanwhile, Vidya and Ruhi are preparing gifts for Karwachauth. Rohit insists that Ruhi shouldn’t fast because she’s pregnant. Ruhi asserts her commitment as a responsible wife and says the doctor confirmed both she and the baby are fine. Rohit pushes back, but Vidya intervenes, saying Ruhi can indeed observe the fast. Neeraj shows Charu a saree via video call, explaining he believes in equality. Charu admires it and inquires about the saree he bought for his mother. Neeraj mentions his father’s lack of interest in such things, which is why he takes care of it. He then presents another saree for Charu and asks if she plans to fast. Charu responds that it’s her choice, and if she does, he will join her in the fast.
Dadi speaks with Kajal, who mentions Mala’s inquiry about whether Charu will fast for Neeraj. Dadi directs her to ask Vidya instead. Kajal insists that Dadi is the eldest and should handle it. Dadi replies that since the engagement hasn’t occurred, Charu isn’t required to fast. Krish questions Sanjay about insulting Manoj, and Sanjay reprimands him. Aryan and Kiara argue with Charu over the fast. Kajal delivers medicine to Dadi, who notes that Vidya provided sarees to everyone but Abhira, leading to Dadi’s annoyance.
Vidya feeds sargi to Ruhi when Manisha arrives with an idea to have Aryan film videos of all couples to watch together. Ruhi agrees and suggests Vidya should feed sweets to Manisha. Vidya tells Ruhi to focus on eating instead. Ruhi insists that Vidya should also partake, reminding her that Dadi might have sent her sargi.
Dadi enters, expressing her hurt feelings and stating she remembers everything while scolding Vidya. Kajal arrives with sargi for both Vidya and Manisha. Manisha questions what Kajal is hiding in her lap, and Abhira enters to say Dadi has called her.
Dadi presents Abhira with a saree and jewelry, explaining that it was passed down from her saas, and only the special bahu receives such gifts. Abhira expresses her gratitude. Dadi instructs Kajal to get sargi for Abhira, but Vidya admits it’s finished, having only prepared for Ruhi. Dadi mocks her, and Abhira pleads that her blessings are enough and that she will manage without more food.
Armaan then brings sargi for Abhira, explaining that he couldn’t make kheer and puri, so he opted for ice cream and toast, along with some chocolate. Abhira laughs and thanks him for the special sargi. He urges her to eat quickly, and they enjoy the moment together.
