Ramesh visits Sapna at a market and offers her gold jewelry. When Sapna questions why he is giving it to her, Ramesh tells her she can take as much gold as she wants in exchange for selling her daughter to him. Offended, Sapna gathers a crowd, which attempts to confront Ramesh, but he manages to calm them down and disperse the situation. He explains to Sapna that she has already compromised her daughter’s dignity and self-respect for a flat, jewelry, money, and a sari. Ramesh points out that while a physical wound can heal, a mental one is much harder to mend. He encourages Sapna to allow Anjali to attend the court hearing and fight for her dignity. He then apologizes to Sapna for his harsh words and leaves.
Returning home, Sapna reflects on Ramesh’s remarks. She notices Anjali packing her law books and asks why. Anjali explains that she needs to pay the grocery shop owner and plans to sell her books. Sapna stops her, and Anjali reveals that the law books remind her of her failures; she cannot bear to live a life filled with humiliation like her father. Sapna asks if she won’t seek justice for Padma. Anjali questions whether Padma is truly her mother. Sapna affirms this and apologizes for her earlier mistakes. She shares how Ramesh helped her see the truth and encourages Anjali to proceed with the case to teach Raghav a lesson. Anjali delivers her usual strong dialogue, declaring that with her mother by her side, no one can defeat her now.
Anjali meets with Pankaj and informs him that her mother has permitted her to fight the case. Pankaj expresses his certainty that this would happen. Anjali asks for his help in winning the case. Pankaj agrees but tells her to keep it a secret so she can surprise her adversary at the last moment.
Back home, Sapna eagerly waits for Ganesh to perform the Karva Chauth ritual and break her fast. Anjali teases her about it. Aman observes them from a distance. Kavya performs the ritual for Aman while her mother does so for Chandrbhan when he returns home. Ganesh eventually arrives, and Sapna performs the ritual, with Ganesh breaking her fast. Aman watches Ganesh’s affectionate behavior and thinks to himself that Anjali is nothing like her father.
