Abhira is thrilled to be organizing the function. Vidya asks Kaveri about her decision to let Abhira take charge. Kaveri decides to test Abhira’s capabilities, telling Vidya that she wants to see Abhira handle responsibility well. Kaveri mentions that after marriage, she plans to give Abhira even more responsibilities, so she needs to be confident that Abhira can manage them.
Abhira fills out the loan application form, and the manager asks her about securing a guarantor. Kaveri steps in to offer her support as the guarantor, which makes Abhira ecstatic. However, Kaveri is still intent on testing Abhira. Ruhi remarks that passing Kaveri’s test won’t be easy for Abhira. Kaveri later asks Arman how he manages to deal with Abhira, to which Arman replies that Abhira is the best.
Ruhi notices that Abhira’s parents’ names are missing from the invitation card and thinks about how she can use this to plot against Arman and Abhira. As she is lost in thought, Arman accidentally bumps into her. Ruhi asks Arman if he thinks she’s not responsible and soon falls ill. Abhira is shocked when she sees Arman and Ruhi together. Arman explains to Abhira that it was just an accident when he bumped into Ruhi. Abhira admits that, for a brief moment, she had doubted him.
Abhira and Arman take Ruhi back home. Rohit becomes concerned about Ruhi’s condition. Ruhi is stunned to learn that it was Abhira and Arman who brought her back, leaving her even more shocked. As Kaveri prepares for Janmashtami, she asks everyone to sing. Arman suggests that Abhira sing, but when no one steps up, Kaveri suggests playing a song on mobile instead.
Abhira surprises everyone with her captivating performance. Ruhi is reminded of Akshara, while Manish, Swarna, and Surekha are taken aback by Abhira’s singing. Manish asks Abhira where she learned the song, and she explains that she heard it in the temple. Manish questions her to be sure, but Swarna steps in to interrupt him. Ruhi suspects that Manish might have helped Abhira learn the song.
Abhira then requests Kaveri to give her a chance to prepare for Janmashtami, determined to prove her abilities. Kaveri agrees, and Abhira becomes excited. Ruhi, however, finds herself reminded of Akshara more and more by Abhira and decides she needs to confront her.
Kaveri praises Swarna and Manish for joining them in the Janmashtami celebration, to which Manish responds that it was Abhira who invited them. Kajal asks Kaveri who will make the rangoli this time, and Kaveri says she will make the announcement soon. Arman asks Abhira to meet him privately, but Abhira is focused on the preparations. Manish tells Arman to let Abhira finish the decorations first.
