Jhanak 18th October 2024 Written Episode
The episode begins with Tejas denying any knowledge about Jhanak. Shrishti responds, “Fine, I’ll talk to you later.” Anirudh says, “It hasn’t been proven that you didn’t do anything.” Anjana tries to calm him down. Aditya adds, “We hope the police will check the hospitals too, in case there was an accident…” Anirudh interrupts, “No.” Choton checks the news, and they come across a report about Jhanak’s accident. The reporter mentions that a young girl’s body was found in the car. Anirudh, Aditya, and everyone else are stunned by the news of Jhanak’s death. Anirudh breaks down, saying, “I love you, Jhanak.” He then turns to Choton, desperately asking, “This news is wrong, right?” and shouts in anguish.
Anirudh spots Arshi and accuses her, “You have killed her.” Arshi, confused, asks, “What?” He continues, “Yes, you and your mother are responsible. Why else would her car fall off the cliff? You gave her false information and then did this.” Arshi, in tears, insists, “I don’t know anything.” Anirudh collapses to the ground, crying. Meanwhile, Jhanak is taken to an ashram, where Pandit checks her. Bipasha comments, “Anirudh is obsessed with Jhanak; he left Arshi for her.” Tanuja adds, “I don’t know what Shrishti will do.” Bipasha worries, “If Shrishti contacts the police, it could affect Arshi’s reputation.” Lal suggests, “Anirudh might give a list of suspects to the police, and they could try to frame us.” Shrishti says, “The investigation team has been sent out. Let’s see what happens. I won’t let Anirudh off the hook now.” Lalon advises Anirudh to fight for Jhanak. Aditya admits, “I was the one who pressured her to come for the shoot.” Choton talks to the commissioner, expressing his concern, “I’m scared seeing Anirudh’s condition; he just recovered from a heart attack. I don’t know what to do.” He urges the commissioner to find those responsible. Meanwhile, Pandit continues to pray for Jhanak’s recovery.
Tanuja tries to calm Arshi, saying, “Anirudh isn’t himself; don’t take his words seriously.” Arshi replies, “You may be his mother, but he insulted my mom.” Tanuja explains, “Aditya has brainwashed him.” Arshi asks, “How could he do this?” Tanuja reminds her, “We supported you when you went to Dubai. You weren’t there for him when he needed you.” Shrishti interjects, “What do you mean?” Bipasha tries to mediate, saying, “We are all worried. Our enemies will win if we fight amongst ourselves. Just relax. Are you certain that the police found Jhanak’s body?”
The inspector contacts the reporter, while the commissioner speaks with him, “It would be helpful if we could get some concrete information.” The reporter explains, “We don’t know what happened to the body; we only have some photos from the accident site.” Bipasha explains to Arshi and Shrishti how Jhanak manipulated Anirudh. One of the men, seeing the police, says, “I don’t want to talk to them; they might frame me. Guru ji took the girl to the ashram, but we don’t know if she is alive.” Another man adds, “Guru ji can’t bring her back to life. We should leave.” They depart. The commissioner informs them, “The initial checks are complete. A team has gone to investigate further, and we need to speak with Shrishti today.” Choton asks, “Are you saying Jhanak’s body was placed in the car and thrown into the river?” The commissioner replies, “I’m not sure.”
Jhanak regains consciousness, and the people at the ashram tend to her. Bipasha tells Shrishti, “I’m sure Jhanak must have told something to Anirudh.” She urges Shrishti to understand. Just then, Shrishti receives a call. The person on the line says, “There are no witnesses to the accident.” She responds, “Good, keep me informed, and thanks.” She then says, “I think if I get out of this safely, so will Anirudh.” The commissioner adds, “No one can repeat this again; we’ll wait for further updates.” Anirudh, still grieving, reflects on Jhanak. Aditya tries to console him, “Anirudh, I understand your pain. We can’t come to terms with this loss, but now is not the time to break down. We must seek justice.” Choton urges Anirudh to follow him. At the ashram, Pandit asks Jhanak about her family, but she struggles to recall anything. They continue to care for her. Anirudh hugs Choton and weeps.
