Suman Indori 18th October 2024 Written Episode
The episode begins with Chandrakant asking Suman to call Rishi in two hours, warning her not to make any mistakes during the function or the rituals. He instructs her to get ready and join them for the ceremony. Suman thinks that Rishi wanted her to fulfill this relationship, and she is determined to do it at any cost. Meanwhile, Suman’s family has brought Rishi’s lifeless body home, and everyone is consumed with thoughts of him. Gulshan stands nearby, seemingly pleased, watching the scene unfold. Pandit ji advises them to fold their hands in prayer, stating that it’s time to take the body for the last rites. Malini inquires with Hema about Suman’s absence. Suman is hurrying to get ready and thinks about how Dulari didn’t give her the charger. Teerth knocks on the door and enters, apologizing for his behavior the previous day. Suman reassures him it’s okay and asks if he has any news about Rishi. Teerth responds that Rishi’s phone is off but reassures her that he must be fine, recalling how Rishi smiled on their wedding day. He mentions they can head to the rituals after the ceremony. Pandit ji urges them to hurry. Malini tells Bhumi to go and fetch Suman. Everyone is in tears. Malini expresses confidence that Suman will overcome all obstacles to bid farewell to her brother. Teerth and Suman arrive for the muh dikhayi ceremony. Teerth insists he will take her after the ritual, gently holding her hand.
Devika separates their hands and leads Suman to meet the guests. Chandrakant’s sister praises Suman’s beauty and commends Devika for accepting Kritika’s rival. Chandrakant interrupts, asking her to stop. Gitanjali, addressing Ganesh ji, states she has accepted Suman as Teerth’s wife and asks for everything to go smoothly. She approaches Suman and Teerth, instructing everyone to let Suman see her reflection in the mirror while placing gifts in a tray. She prepares to show Suman’s face to everyone, but just then, Bhumi rushes in calling for Suman, exclaiming about Rishi. Suman is stunned and lifts her veil. Bhumi reveals the tragic news that Rishi has passed away.
Suman and Teerth are left in shock, and the others are equally taken aback. Suman stands up, shouting in denial that her Rishi can’t be gone. She rises, causing the sindoor and gift tray to topple. Suman cries out that Rishi can’t leave her and attempts to rush out. Devika grabs her hand, warning that leaving the ritual would bring bad luck. Suman insists that no one, not even God, will stop her today. Devika tries once more to restrain her, but Suman pushes past her and runs off. Guru helps her regain her footing. Devika makes a sarcastic remark about Suman’s actions, then calls for Teerth. Teerth, exasperated, points out that her brother is dead, and questions her focus on rituals. He storms off. Devika folds her hands in apology to the guests, lamenting that not everyone shares her values. She declares that everything rests in the hands of Papa ji and Sasuma, secretly hoping that Papa ji will prevent Suman from returning home. Chandrakant comments on her behavior, noting that the girl from the chaat stall can’t participate in the muh dikhayi under these circumstances. He urges her to understand the situation. Gitanjali tries to diffuse the tension, reminding everyone not to tie the rituals to the people present, assuring that their guests will understand.
Baby takes a jab at Chandrakant, reminding him how Guru’s marriage was arranged with someone else before he eloped with Devika, and how Teerth was set to marry her sister but chose another. She implies that his children have a penchant for running away to marry. She mentions that they have seen the wedding online and will witness the muh dikhayi and shagun rituals online as well. Chandrakant asserts that the muh dikhayi will not take place and orders everyone to leave. Kritika appears, dressed in a saree over her night suit, confidently declaring that her muh dikhayi will happen now. Devika glances at her, still adorned with sindoor and mangalsutra. Meanwhile, Suman is lost in thought about Rishi as she continues running down the road. Teerth pleads with her to stop and listen. Just then, a speeding car comes close to hitting her, but Teerth intervenes, asking what she is doing. Suman embraces Teerth, sobbing, and exclaims that Rishi has left them. Teerth also sheds tears, urging her to be strong. Suman begs him to take her to Rishi. Teerth insists they need to go to the cremation ground. Suman shouts in grief and weeps as Teerth holds her tightly. Bhumi also breaks down in tears.
At the cremation ground, Suman gazes at Rishi’s body, overwhelmed with sorrow. She remembers his words about her being his protector. Shouting his name, she weeps. Gulshan watches on with a smile, while everyone else remains heartbroken.
