Jagriti 18th October 2024 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Kachori inquiring about the haveli, to which Jaggu responds that it resembles a golden cage, beautiful and filled with golden things. She comments on the large cowshed at the haveli, surprising Golu. Jaggu turns to Bindi and informs her that Jaggu is present. Bindi asks if Jaggu is upset with her, but insists she’s not upset with haldi. Kachori remarks that if the haveli is like a golden Lanka, why did Jaggu get hurt. Jaggu declares, “I am Ram ji’s Sevak Hanuman.”
Amol shatters a glass and orders Gita to comply with his demands. He scolds her, warning her not to interfere with Kalikant and questioning her support for Chitta. Gita asserts that Kalikant is the mastermind behind the racket and that she cannot endorse him as the investigator. She emphasizes that judges uphold the truth and that the law’s Devi is shrouded to ensure the judge delivers a fearless and honest verdict. She accuses Amol of forgetting his oath, while she remembers hers. When she asks where he is going, Amol replies that he’s heading to someone else’s bedroom since he is barred from entering hers. Bindi urges Jaggu to hurry, insisting they must leave before everyone at the haveli wakes up. Jaggu says she’s taking Ram phal for Akash. Bindi tells her not to mention his name. Jaggu insists she can name Akash since he helps her a lot. Bindi refers to him as “Chote Sarkar,” while Jaggu calls him “Nanhe Sarkar,” explaining that the former is mischievous, while the latter is helpful and a friend. Jaggu collects fruits for Mamma. Bindi questions if she’s reached the haveli as well. Jaggu clarifies that Mamma is Sapna’s, not hers, and asks Bindi to give it to Mamma. Bindi expresses her intent to meet Mamma and warn her to stay away from Jaggu. She asks where she might find her. Jaggu explains that Mamma will pass by the road when the sun is overhead and notes that Bindi will recognize her by her similar facial features. Jaggu enters the haveli, leaving Bindi outside.
Gita is in the car and instructs the driver to stop at the Ram phal fruit vendor. Bindi is waiting for Gita’s arrival, planning to change her mind. When Gita spots Bindi, she greets her happily, surprised to see her, and asks if she brought Ram phal for her. Bindi asks if she is Jaggu’s Mamma. Gita responds that Jaggu thought it was her name when she heard her daughter calling her Mamma. She claims to have no grievances with Bindi and inquires about Jaggu’s identity. Bindi retorts that Jaggu is Chitta’s daughter from a Chitta mother, asserting that she is her daughter.
Gayatri douses Jaggu with a bucket of water. Jaggu demands to know who did it. Gayatri admits it was her and tells Jaggu to chew the chillies if she wants to go to the basti daily. Bindi expresses that if she could go to the basti every day to meet Baba, Bindi Mausi, Kachori, and others, she would gladly do so.
Gita comments on Jaggu’s lovely daughter, saying that’s why Bindi is lovely and innocent. Bindi retorts that it’s the reason Gita is urging her to study. Gita mentions that Jaggu sells fruits and reveals that she heard from Sapna that Jaggu works at the haveli. Bindi affirms this and states that Sarkar’s haveli serves as a school for them. She warns Gita to leave; otherwise, she will expose that the magistrate lady wants to buy her mother from her. Gita insists that Bindi is indeed her mother and advises her to eliminate hatred from her heart. She urges Bindi to inquire about the haveli’s secrets from Jaggu, suggesting that it will change her perspective. Gita mentions that Jaggu gave Bindi something for her. Bindi takes it and walks away while Gita watches.
Jaggu is forced to chew the chillies and asks Jamuna for water. Gayatri tells her that this purification will not be a daily routine, implying that Jaggu should not visit the basti. Jaggu asserts that she will endure the chillies and go to the basti, consuming numerous chillies in the process. Ganga feels sympathy for her. Akash arrives and is taken aback by the scene.
Golu informs Mangla, Ballu, Nanda, and others that Jaggu is gaining Raj yog there. He insists that Kachori recount everything Jaggu told her, threatening to cut her hair if she doesn’t comply. Bindi arrives and confronts Durjan. She accuses him, stating that either he is in the dark or is keeping them in the dark. Akash attempts to intervene, but Ganga restrains him, cautioning that his interference will only exacerbate Bindi’s troubles. Akash questions if he should refrain from helping her. Ganga insists that it’s Bindi’s struggle to endure, and she must become strong enough to fight her own battles. He watches her pain with tears in his eyes as Jaggu finishes all the chillies and pleads for water.
