Iss Ishq Ka Rabb Rakha 18th October 2024 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Meghla stating, “I never lie.” Ranbir replies, “That’s nice; I haven’t heard your song yet.” She responds, “But you’re coming on Sunday. We’ve started the preparations; you can join us for Durga Puja.” He agrees, saying, “Yes, why not?” She adds, “We’re happy that your family will also be here.” Ranbir expresses, “I want to know about one person.” Thinking of Adrija, she says, “She is happy.” Adrija enters and requests, “Make me a cup of coffee.” Meghla suggests that Ranbir and Adrija chat. Adrija rushes to take a call. Ranbir greets her, and they start talking. Adrija says, “You can call me anytime; Meghla isn’t with me all the time.”
Meher becomes upset with Zoravar. “He makes fun of me for small things, and no one says anything to him,” she argues. He tells her to watch her words. Balveer intervenes, stating, “She’s right; she has instilled good values in the children, and we didn’t have time to guide them, so let it be.” Dadi chimes in, saying, “You should have consulted Zoravar before deciding on Ranbir’s roka.” Meher responds, “Fine, I made a mistake. I’m sorry; I’ll call them tomorrow and say the roka won’t happen. You all can handle it.” Adrija teases, “You are shy.” Ranbir says, “Time will reveal everything; anyway, I’ll hang up now.” She asks why he’s leaving so soon, and he explains, “I like to stick to a schedule. I go to sleep by 10:30 PM to wake up early. Can you pass the phone to Meghla?” Adrija tells him to wait, as Meghla is in the kitchen but will be back shortly. Meghla returns with coffee. Adrija encourages her to talk. Meanwhile, Meher sits, frustrated. Zoravar asks, “What are you trying to prove?” She replies, “You think I have no respect or value in this family. You treat me like I’m pathetic; I won’t tolerate it anymore.” He shouts at her, but Dadu intervenes, stating, “Meher can’t make any mistakes; she always takes care of everyone.”
Zoravar retorts, “Yes, she does this because her life is confined to this house. She doesn’t realize there’s a world outside. I haven’t introduced her to my social circle yet.” Meher counters, “That’s fine; I’m not interested in your social circle.” Ranbir continues his conversation with Meghla while Adrija observes. Ranbir advises Meghla, “Make sure you get enough sleep; it’s essential for health.” Param tells Meher to let it go. Meher insists, “Why should I? It’s not my fault.” Tai Ji urges Zoravar to allow Meher to manage the wedding arrangements, saying, “We’re running out of time.” Simran agrees, “I also have work pressures at the office. Don’t be angry; someone needs to take responsibility for the wedding preparations.” Zoravar says, “I’m available, but I can’t help if I have an emergency meeting.” Meher tries to explain her perspective, and Zoravar asks, “Did you ever think about why this happens? It’s due to my hard work. I work so you can live a luxurious life.” Meher replies, “You should choose a job that allows you to spend time with family too. You go abroad and inform your mother, but not me. When you call, you only ask me to prepare food for you; that’s all there is to our relationship.” He responds, “Yes, I tell you what you should do.”
Ranbir advises Meghla to maintain a sleep schedule. She explains, “I wake up early to practice singing, then I go to Guru Ji’s for class.” He emphasizes, “Sleeping on time is very important; take care. Good night.” He ends the call. Harman encourages Meher to stay calm and comforts her as she cries. Zoravar laughs at her comments, and Tai Ji tells him to drop the issue. Everyone defends Meher.
Suddenly, Diljot rushes in, saying, “Everyone forgot about me! Ranbir is getting married, but I’m still married, and my husband is alive! Do I look beautiful?” The family stares at her in disbelief. She scolds Dadi. Zoravar worries aloud, “What will we say to the guests when they see her?” Diljot retorts, “You insult Meher every day.” Meher tries to calm her. Ranbir arrives home and notices Diljot in tears, offering her comfort. Adrija inquires, “Why does Ranbir call you?” Meghla replies, “I was just listening to him.”
