Mera Balam Thanedaar 17th October 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Bulbul slapping Drishti, expressing her frustration that she remained silent all this time. She reveals that she thought of Drishti as her real sister, but Drishti crossed the line by taking Veer’s uniform, a betrayal she cannot forgive. Bulbul accuses Drishti of exposing her real age, admitting that she had kept quiet then as it was her own mistake. She vows that Drishti will face consequences for her actions. Drishti attempts to retaliate by slapping Bulbul, but Veer intervenes, holding Drishti’s hand and insisting she leave their home. Bulbul taunts Drishti about her aversion to work, mentioning that Vayu has already packed her bags. Drishti retorts that Bulbul is only acting this way because Vishesh is absent. The others chime in, stating that even Vishesh would have taken the same stance.
Veer retreats to his room, staring at the wall where his uniform once hung. Bulbul approaches the door, hesitating to knock when Veer invites her in, reminding her that she doesn’t need permission. She explains that she didn’t bring him to the juvenile home, but now that he knows the truth, she tried to keep him at a distance. Veer reveals that he went there upon hearing of her illness, unable to resist. He comments on the current situation, saying everything has fallen apart. Bulbul accepts responsibility for their troubles, emphasizing that Drishti has wronged them, but she also reveals that her own lie contributed to their issues—Veer’s uniform was taken from him.
Veer expresses his frustration, recalling how he had asked Bulbul to share any problems with him when they married. He urges her to be open about her feelings, wondering why she didn’t confide in him. Bulbul insists she didn’t want the truth to hurt him. Veer counters that if she had been honest, they could have talked it out, preventing their current circumstances. Bulbul asserts her desire to tell him. Veer reminisces about their friendship, the understanding they built, and the feelings that grew between them. He laments how the wall, once a symbol of their bond, now feels like a mockery of his betrayal and loss.
Meanwhile, Drishti tumbles onto the road, haunted by visions of Bulbul and mocking laughter. She declares that she will reclaim her place in the house, believing she holds a trump card.
Bulbul visits the Commissioner, explaining that everything that occurred is a result of Drishti and Ratan Chauhan’s actions. She insists that she tried to warn him but was dismissed due to the circumstances. The Commissioner admits he trusted Veer, but felt powerless due to the situation and the conspiracy. Bulbul points out that a video now proves Veer’s innocence. Veer expresses doubt that he will regain his uniform, stating that he must first clear his name. Bulbul questions how he plans to achieve that, to which Veer responds that he needs to earn the public’s trust. Rashi suggests that solving a significant case could restore his reputation. Bulbul confidently asserts that Veer will soon reclaim his uniform.
Drishti confides in Ratan about Bulbul’s schemes, expressing her anger over being ousted from the house and losing Varnika’s support. Varnika arrives, and Ratan instructs Drishti to talk to her before leaving. Drishti menaces Varnika regarding a secret, but Varnika remains skeptical about Drishti’s claims. In a fit of rage, Drishti pushes Varnika in front of a car but quickly pulls her back, recalling the tragic fate of Varnika’s mother that was tied to her father.
Ratan contacts Bulbul, using Varnika as leverage to blackmail her into compliance, demanding she meet him in exchange for Varnika’s safety. Varnika signals her disapproval, but Ratan reacts violently, slapping her, and reiterates that the police officer must remain unaware of her visit to him.
