Do Dooni Pyaar 17th October 2024 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Ritu speaking on the phone with Lalita. Lalita mentions that she will show the earrings later, as her leg is hurt and she can’t get up. She urges Ritu to keep Akshay under control. Meanwhile, Ganga is in a heated argument with Abhay, who insults her and tells her to leave the room. Hurt, she cries and exits. Lalita is seen talking with her brother about deceiving Ganga. Lalita boasts about having fooled Ganga into doing all the work, treating her no better than a maid, and laughs. Ganga overhears this and is visibly shaken, saying, “Maa…” The revelation shocks Lalita and her brother.
Ganga, tearful, confronts them, expressing that she overheard everything and her illusion has shattered. She admonishes them for belittling motherhood, reminding Lalita that she is merely her stepmother. Ganga storms out, leaving Lalita anxious. She relays the incident to Ritu, expressing her fear that Abhay might have discovered the truth about the diamond earrings. Ritu, however, thinks it’s something more significant and decides to check Ganga’s room. Lalita agrees, concerned. Outside, Ganga walks along the road, distraught.
As she reflects on Abhay and Lalita’s words, she arrives at a temple and breaks down in tears. A woman approaches her, encouraging her to awaken, stating that Matarani is with her. Back at the house, Ritu urges Akshay to come quickly and informs everyone that Ganga is missing, suggesting she may have left home. Kalyani questions this.
The woman takes Ganga into the temple, helping her receive Matarani’s blessings. Ganga takes a firetorch and leaves, burning some coal. Bindiya mentions that Ganga is still unaccounted for, while Chetan notes that Abhay is at the hospital. A guard reveals that Ganga is outside the main gate. The family rushes out to find Ganga running a Litti Chokha stall. She reflects on the woman’s advice to protect her self-esteem and films a video, announcing that her new life begins today. Kalyani yells for Ganga, and Abhay watches silently. Kalyani scolds Ganga for her actions, but Ganga firmly declares that she is fighting for her self-esteem and wishes to earn respect. She reveals that after Abhay’s insult, she returned to her Maayka, only to realize that it no longer felt like home, as he had accused her of theft and even raised his hand against her.
