Jhanak 16th October 2024 Written Episode
The episode begins with Aditya declaring his love, emphasizing that Jhanak’s happiness is what matters most to him, and he wishes for her and Anirudh to be together. Jhanak pleads with him not to say such things, insisting that Anirudh can’t reach her and that she cannot ruin Arshi’s life. She resolves to step away from Anirudh’s life, noting that he was also attempting to do the same. They are then called for the shoot, where the director briefs Jhanak and Aditya on the scene. Jhanak agrees, and a conversation unfolds between Tanuja and Bipasha. Arshi descends the stairs, prompting Tanuja to mention that Shrishti has called her, and they will know everything by tomorrow. Jhanak imagines Anirudh during the shoot, with the song “Berangey” playing in the background.
In her imagination, Anirudh places a necklace around her neck, and they share a hug. He asks her to open her eyes, and she admires the necklace, saying it’s lovely, just like him. The moment shifts back to reality, where everyone applauds the scene. Jhanak notices Aditya, and Bipasha inquires about their plan. Tanuja cryptically replies that they will reveal it once everything is in place. Arshi ominously declares that Jhanak’s chapter will soon close. Tejas makes a call, stating he cannot stay for long, as it might raise suspicions. The man he speaks to agrees. Approaching Jhanak, he relays the shocking news that Anirudh has fallen down the stairs. Jhanak is visibly shaken. Arshi tells her they will find out more soon, while Bipasha claims ignorance but indicates that she understands the situation. Tanuja urges Arshi to visit Anirudh’s room, to which Arshi retorts that he will insult her again. Tanuja reassures her that he will talk, asking her to just manage him today.
Aditya, confused by the news, asks Jhanak what happened. She explains that Anirudh has fallen down the stairs. The man lies, claiming the manager informed him about Anirudh’s accident. He offers to take Jhanak in the production car, and the director allows their departure. Aditya insists on staying behind, saying he will handle things here, urging Jhanak to remain calm. He reassures her that nothing will happen to Anirudh, suggesting he might have merely stumbled due to weakness. Jhanak refuses, stating that Aditya’s work is already being affected. The man insists not to worry and assures her that he will take her.
As Jhanak drives away, she hears Tejas’ voice and becomes anxious, questioning where he is taking her. Tejas responds that they aren’t going to the intended location. Shocked, she realizes who it is, but before she can react, the man sprays something on her, causing her to faint. Meanwhile, Aditya finishes the shoot and asks to call Nitesh. Nitesh asks where they should dispose of her. Tejas reveals that he has chosen an isolated location, seeking Nitesh’s help, and states that he has already booked a ticket, adding that he needs to leave quickly. The director notes that Nitesh might have gone to work. Aditya attempts to reach Jhanak. Nitesh removes the SIM card from his phone. Tejas and Nitesh dispose of the car in the river, claiming that Jhanak betrayed him by not wanting to remain with him as a queen.
Tejas instructs Nitesh to leave, then calls Shrishti, informing her that Jhanak’s story has concluded. Shrishti expresses disbelief, and Tejas insists he doesn’t lie, encouraging her to celebrate this newfound freedom. She can’t believe it, thanking him for a significant favor. Tejas reveals he wants something in return: her Kashmir house. He threatens her to comply, and although she is shocked, she agrees to discuss it later. He insists he must leave promptly, promising to return when the situation is stable, then ends the call. Shrishti exclaims that Jhanak is finally gone, relishing her newfound freedom and determining to manage Tejas as well. She plans to contact Arshi. Tejas destroys the SIM card and departs.
Later, Shrishti visits the family, expressing her desire to bring a Maa Durga idol into the home. Shubh responds that she can contribute, but the family will handle the purchase. Shrishti and Arshi insist on their involvement. Dadi suggests it be a family puja, offering to split the cost. Arshi agrees, stating Shrishti can prepare the bhog for one day. Tanuja supports the idea. Arshi notes that Anirudh has not yet awakened and will signal if he needs anything. Anjana insists he will recover soon and heads to make coffee for him. Shrishti doubts Arshi will remain in the house. Dadi suggests letting Arshi care for Anirudh. Shrishti inquires about Jhanak’s whereabouts and if she will participate in the puja. Arshi reassures her that Jhanak will be there, having come to care for Anirudh, but she is currently away for a shoot. Dadi and Shubh calm Arshi. Meanwhile, Anirudh is on the phone, clarifying that he did not fall and inquiring about Jhanak. Anjana enters as Anirudh discusses Jhanak, confirming that he is fine and believes the news is false. He instructs her to discover who spread the rumor. Aditya informs him that someone called the manager from home, and the production assistant passed the false information to Jhanak, who has already left for his house. Anirudh insists he needs to go downstairs to investigate. Anjana urges him to rest, but he insists on leaving, asking Aditya to look into it.
Aditya vows to find out what’s happening. Anirudh hurries downstairs, questioning if anyone called Jhanak’s client for the shoot. Shubh advises him to calm down. Tanuja admits they don’t know her client. Anirudh demands to know who informed Jhanak about his supposed fall. Arshi expresses disbelief about why they would share such news with her. Dadi and Anjana also question who could have leaked this information. Shrishti speculates that Appu might be responsible, but Anjana counters that she isn’t around, and Choton is away for work. Anirudh calls Choton, becoming frustrated as he realizes Jhanak is missing.
