Mishri 15th October 2024 Written Update
Mishri notices that the bus is empty and Raghav is nowhere to be found. She searches high and low for him. Meanwhile, Vaani threatens Chithra, demanding that she not harm Raghav or face deadly consequences. Vaani explains that Raghav is not only her love but also her obsession—she would sacrifice her life for him and wouldn’t hesitate to take someone else’s life either. Chithra’s phone rings, and she asks Vaani for permission to answer it. Vaani grants her the go-ahead to take the call. On the other end, a goon informs Chithra that he has cut the brake wires of the bus, and while the bus had an accident, no one was killed. Raghav, however, managed to escape. Upon hearing this, Vaani lets Chithra go. Meanwhile, some goons abduct Raghav. Mishri continues her search for him, feeling heartbroken.
Sulekha is preparing to welcome the groom’s family. Parvathi is hopeful that Raghav will attend the engagement ceremony, eager to see her son there. However, Sulekha advises her not to expect Raghav to show up. When Ridhi’s fiancé arrives, Sulekha performs the welcoming ritual by doing an arathi for them. Noticing their somber expressions, she asks what’s wrong. Ridhi’s fiancé admits he made a mistake by booking with the wrong people, stating that Raghav never came to pick them up. He regrets dealing with those individuals, accusing them of trying to trap and scam him. Parvathi defends her son, insisting that Raghav would never act that way, which surprises everyone. Sulekha is taken aback to hear Parvathi refer to Raghav as her son. Vaani quickly diverts the conversation to impress the guests, acting like the ideal daughter-in-law, while Chithra thinks Vaani is merely pretending and is nothing but a nuisance. Vaani catches wind of Chithra’s thoughts.
As the engagement ceremony commences, Sulekha asks the couple to exchange rings. The groom’s mother questions Sulekha about her grandson’s absence, wondering why he isn’t attending his sister’s engagement. Sulekha fabricates an excuse, claiming he is busy with work and cannot hand over the deal to someone else. Vaani adds that she is there to manage everything on behalf of her husband. Just then, Mishri arrives. The groom scolds her for being late, complaining that they didn’t keep their promise. Mishri hesitates to explain the situation, but Sulekha insists that everyone ignore her and continue with the ring exchange. Parvathi pulls Mishri aside to ask what happened, and Mishri shares the whole story. Vaani then blames Mishri for the predicament, asserting that as Raghav’s wife, she has every right to know what’s happening with him. The groom overhears this and makes a scene, upset over Raghav being married to two women. Despite Sulekha’s attempts to calm the situation, the groom’s family insults Raghav, humiliating them all and ultimately calling off the engagement before storming out.
In a fit of rage, Sulekha slaps Mishri, blaming her for everything and branding her as bad luck.
