Jhanak 15th October 2024 Written Episode
The episode opens with Shubh reprimanding Jhanak. Jhanak argues back, reminding them of the doctor’s advice. She insists that they must keep Anirudh happy and calm. Shubh responds that they understand this but tells her to leave. Anirudh declares he will leave as well. Jhanak asks him not to involve himself in their argument. She states that she will go instead. He insists he can’t stand being insulted. Arshi accuses Jhanak of insulting them, questioning if she doesn’t feel bad. Anjana arrives and inquires about the commotion. Jhanak explains everything to her. Meanwhile, Dr. Sen meets his senior at a café for a discussion. Mimi, Rumi, and their friends are nearby. Dr. Sen spots Mimi and thinks of her as a brat. Rumi nudges Mimi to notice him, and she claims she will trap him by pretending to be unwell. Dr. Sen pays her no mind. Shubh warns that if she doesn’t listen, he will call the police.
Jhanak retorts to Shubh. Arshi threatens to kick her out of the house. Jhanak scolds Arshi in return. Arshi grabs Jhanak and challenges her audacity. Anjana questions whether Arshi will raise her hand against Jhanak. Arshi tells Anjana to be quiet. Jhanak states that they won’t respect Anjana, Badomaa; they don’t understand her. She then responds to Arshi.
Arshi accuses Jhanak of being shameless. Anirudh demands that she stop. Rumi notes that the doctor is nice; he specializes in cardiology. A friend suggests asking him for help. Rumi approaches Dr. Sen and requests his assistance. Dr. Sen declines, stating he doesn’t want to be associated with them. Rumi argues, urging him to treat Mimi, and he reluctantly agrees to check on her.
Arshi insists she won’t let Jhanak off easily and orders both Anirudh and Jhanak to leave. Jhanak replies that they have pushed her to end her marriage, or else she would have stayed. She tells Arshi that her arrival gave her a chance to enter the house. Jhanak adds that while Arshi may have been in Anirudh’s life first, their connection lacked depth. She has evidence but says no one would have interfered. Jhanak challenges Arshi, asking her to reflect on her love for Anirudh, pointing out that she abandoned him to go to Dubai when he needed her. Bipasha interrupts, asking her to stop.
Dr. Sen examines Mimi’s pulse, stating nothing is wrong with her and that she should go home. Mimi claims she can’t stand and is in pain. He insists they call a cab, stating that nothing serious is happening. He doubts her sincerity as she claims to be dying from the pain. Dr. Sen decides they need to take her to the hospital. Rumi supports Mimi’s claims of difficulty in breathing. She requests he drive them in his car. His senior advises that they should hospitalize her since their meeting is nearly over and he should assist her. Dr. Sen worries about the potential blame if something goes wrong on the way. Mimi assures him she won’t place the blame on him. Dr. Sen thinks he regrets coming there.
Jhanak reprimands Tanuja and Shubh. Tanuja complains to Anirudh that they are being insulted. Anirudh replies that they have also insulted Jhanak. Jhanak offers him some soup. Arshi interjects that he doesn’t need her to feed him. He insists that Jhanak should serve him. Arshi argues with him.
He requests Jhanak to feed him. Dr. Sen sends Rumi outside to check on Mimi. She winks and smiles at him. Shubh and Tanuja enter and inquire what is happening. Dr. Sen advises them not to rush. Mimi thinks he is playing a game with her. As she feigns distress, he sends the others out. They banter, and he suggests she needs to be careful. He talks to Shubh and Tanuja, alarming them about Mimi’s health issues. He advises them to impose restrictions on her behavior, mentioning her eye problem, claiming she often winks at boys. Shubh is confused, asking if this is true. Dr. Sen insists they should have noticed. Tanuja says she hadn’t. He continues, saying he’s observed a nerve issue with her and will refer her to a good eye surgeon, prescribing medication. He mentions she might get her vision corrected and see things more clearly, insisting on seven days of strict rest at home. She protests about her exams, but he insists she should prioritize her health. Shubh emphasizes that she must adhere to the diet. Dr. Sen comments that her recovery is his fee, saying he enjoys teaching lessons to girls, and they can settle the bill when she gets better. Mimi grimaces and says she has plans. Rumi tells her that those plans are no longer possible. Mimi vows to make sure she doesn’t let this doctor go. Dr. Sen turns to inquire but they exit.
The next morning, Jhanak meets Aditya on set. She confides that things are not going well. Aditya expresses his disapproval of her being humiliated, acknowledging her love for Anirudh but emphasizing it doesn’t justify their insults. Jhanak explains that while she used to tolerate it, she now stands up for herself.
