Jagriti 15th October 2024 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Jaggu stating, “As you sow, so you shall reap,” and urging her not to repeat her actions. She asks Sapna to hold her hand and get up. When Sapna rises, she unexpectedly pulls Jaggu down. Akash catches Jaggu as she falls and inquires if she’s okay. Sapna shouts, “Papa!” Bindi declares that no one will take Jaggu away from her. Nanda enters with Durjan, confronting them. She questions how they dared to leave the basti, wondering if Raka had been freed from his punishment and what they witnessed in court. Bindi apologizes, admitting she made a mistake. Nanda punishes them, depriving them of food, water, and light for three days. She locks the door while they plead for her to open it.
Ganga applies ointment to Sapna’s knee. Amol asks how the injury occurred. Jagriti arrives, and Sapna accuses her of causing the fall. Amol, Gayatri, and Kalikant scold Jagriti. Solanki mentions to his wife Sujata that she is Gita’s daughter, to which Sujata responds that it must remain a secret. Kalikant chastises Jagriti for making Sapna fall. Jaggu insists she didn’t push her. Akash supports Jagriti’s claim, but Kalikant tells him to be quiet and instructs Ganga to take her son away. Sapna expresses her desire to go home. Kalikant criticizes Amol for not punishing the “criminal.” Sujata interjects that children make mistakes. Kalikant asserts that children must learn their worth from a young age. Amol agrees. Jaggu protests, asking Suraj to tell the truth. Suraj lies, stating that Jaggu pushed Sapna. Jagriti counters that he’s lying. Gayatri accuses Jagriti of calling their son a liar and orders Jamuna to bring a stick. Jamuna complies. Gayatri instructs Jamuna to take the tray from her. Kalikant states that Jaggu is a Chitta, and Sapna should know how to punish her. Amol concurs. Sapna is told to extend her hand, and a scale is struck across it. Jaggu cries out, “Maa…” Solanki and Sujata look on with concern. Gita injures her finger, causing it to bleed.
Mangla attempts to feed Harish, who expresses his intent to go to the haveli to save Jaggu. Nanda arrives, and Mangla pleads for her to save her son. Akash takes Jaggu to his room. Jaggu worries she might get punished like Raka Kaka. Akash reassures her that nobody will find out. He asks her to sit on the bed, and she mentions that it feels soft like Chiku, lamenting that she couldn’t save it. Meanwhile, Jamuna searches for Jagriti, suspecting she might have run away. Akash shows Jaggu a book, teaching her the letter “Kha” for Khargosh/Rabbit, and offers to help her with all her books. She winces as he accidentally touches her hand. He encourages her to read and promises to return. Jamuna enters and reprimands Jaggu for sitting on Nanhe Sarkar’s bed. Jaggu defends herself, stating that Akash brought her there. Akash reappears with ointment, and Suraj mocks him, questioning if he should inform everyone about Akash wanting to help the Chitta girl. Akash disagrees. Suraj tells him to focus on his tasks. Nanda approaches Bindi and Ratna, instructing Bindi to convince Harish to abandon his determination to save Jaggu. Bindi agrees to try.
Jaggu tells Gayatri and Jamuna that she didn’t go to Akash’s room on her own and asks Gayatri to punish her. Gayatri raises the scale to strike her hand but hesitates and instead orders her to clean the cowshed. As Jagriti begins the task, she feels pain in her hand. Jamuna notices the scale mark on her hand and comments that education will remain with her now, mentioning that the mark was left by Guru Ji accidentally. Jagriti feels a sense of hope.
