Lavanya yells at Deepika, insisting that nobody would listen to her and orders her to leave the house. She attempts to slap Deepika, who catches her hand and asserts that she is there to prove her innocence, urging Jahnvi to speak. Lavanya continues to shout. Omkar interjects, saying they should let Jahnvi have her turn. Just then, Chirag returns with Mishka and asks Lavanya if they can’t get through a single day without drama, urging her to allow Jahnvi to speak. Jahnvi reveals that it’s all her fault; she accidentally took an overdose of sleeping pills. She apologizes to Lavanya, who refuses to forgive her.
Chirag questions why she didn’t tell the truth when she had countless opportunities. Jahnvi admits she was scared and didn’t want to seem foolish on her first day in her in-laws’ house. Chirag insists that Jahnvi should apologize to Deepika by touching her feet. Jahnvi complies and apologizes to Deepika, who lifts her up and reassures her that she is her elder sister before her jethani (elder sister-in-law), encouraging her to share anything with her. Prithvi then apologizes to Deepika as well. Deepika confronts Mishka for not informing the family about the sleeping pill overdose, knowing about it beforehand. Mishka explains that she didn’t want to embarrass her best friend’s family and thought the issue would resolve itself once the report arrived.
Omkar praises Deepika for her bravery and announces that their elder DIL will perform the ravan dahan. Lavanya protests, saying it’s impossible, as only family members can perform the ravan dahan. Omkar stands firm, stating that Deepika is their elder DIL and his decision is final. Neelima suggests that Chirag perform the ravan dahan alongside Deepika. Chirag, visibly upset with Deepika, participates but expresses his anger toward her for not calling when she was in trouble. Deepika explains that he was busy with surgery and she didn’t want to disturb him. Chirag retorts that she wouldn’t have been so calm if he hadn’t informed her of his own troubles. Deepika apologizes, but he remains unyielding.
Prithvi confronts Jahnvi for making him doubt Deepika. Jahnvi convinces him with her emotional appeal. Mishka tells Deepika that Chirag is short-tempered and will only listen to her, so she plans to calm him down. Deepika warns her to stay out of husband-and-wife matters, allowing them to resolve their issues themselves. Mishka walks away, determined to drive a wedge between Deepika and Chirag.
