Jhanak 12th October 2024 Written Episode
The episode begins with Arshi arriving to meet Anirudh. Anirudh states he isn’t angry but asks her to keep her distance. Arshi questions if she was called just for this humiliation. Shubh interjects, saying Anirudh isn’t feeling well. Bipasha adds that Anirudh refuses to take his medications and is ignoring everyone. Anirudh insists he is willing to take his medicine but wants a specific person to deliver it. Arshi inquires who that is, and Shubh mentions the doctors are trying to figure it out. Tanuja suggests that while Arshi may be feeling bad, Anirudh is ill, which is why he’s reacting this way. Arshi presses for answers, and Anirudh finally responds with a name: Jhanak.
Arshi becomes furious and raises her voice. The doctor advises her to calm down and informs her that a new nurse has arrived to administer the medicine. Anirudh refuses to take the medication, asking the nurse to stay away. Jhanak, however, takes his hand, making him believe it’s Jhanak. She hands him the medicine, and the song “Tu hai to…” plays. Tanuja expresses relief that he took the medicine and requests the doctor assign this nurse to his care. The doctor agrees, and Arshi asks if he’s satisfied now. Anirudh replies affirmatively, leading to an argument with Arshi.
Shubh urges him to recover quickly so he can be discharged and return home for Durga Puja. Arshi and the others exit, leaving Anirudh holding Jhanak’s hand and expressing that she can’t deceive him. Jhanak explains that she was compelled to disguise herself for his sake. He thanks her, claiming he wouldn’t have survived without her presence. Suddenly, Arshi returns, questioning why he’s touching a nurse and demanding to know her identity.
Removing the mask, she recognizes Jhanak, her anger boiling over as she scolds them both. She drags Jhanak away, who pleads for her to stop. Anirudh tells Arshi to let Jhanak go. Arshi pulls Jhanak towards everyone, accusing the hospital staff of deceiving them for money and insisting on speaking to the manager. Aditya intervenes, urging them to consider Anirudh’s condition. The manager arrives, stating that Anirudh wants Jhanak to remain with him, making it clear that he can’t comply with their demands. Shubh becomes incensed, threatening to sue the entire hospital.
Vinayak argues with Shrishti about supporting Arshi, claiming their upbringing is to blame for the current situation. Shrishti defends their upbringing, asserting it’s perfect. Vinayak points out that she has earned criticism, which has led to these issues. Arshi declares that she’s heading to Dubai, while Jhanak states she’s there to care for Anirudh. Aditya warns Jhanak not to waste her efforts on them, while Tanuja points out that Jhanak could face severe consequences. Jhanak agrees to accept any punishment that comes her way.
As Anirudh makes a sudden exit from the ward, Jhanak asserts her unwavering support for him. She recalls leaving him when he was happy and emphasizes her return during his time of trouble. Arshi questions their connection, and Anirudh retorts that if she hasn’t grasped the situation yet, no one can enlighten her. He expresses that he is alive because of Jhanak and wants her by his side. Anirudh chastises Arshi, stating that her influence has negatively shaped her character.
Arshi yells at him, and Jhanak attempts to calm him down. The nurse urges Anirudh to return inside, while the manager insists that they must allow Anirudh to receive assistance from whoever he wishes. Vinayak recalls the injustices done to Urvashi, which leads to a discussion about the rumors surrounding their situation. Shrishti expresses her belief that the truth hasn’t been fully revealed and walks away. Jhanak assures them she’ll stay until Anirudh recovers, emphasizing her commitment despite Aditya’s losses. He expresses that if Jhanak cannot help Anirudh, he won’t forgive anyone. Arshi dismisses his concerns.
Bipasha rebuts Aditya, stating they don’t view him as important, but he continues to defend Jhanak. Anirudh admits he struggles to stand. Tanuja scolds him for the embarrassment he’s causing. Anirudh insists that while not everyone depends on Jhanak, he is emotionally and mentally reliant on her. He pleads with them to accept Jhanak if they truly care for him. Arshi threatens legal action, frustrated that it appears he’s planning to maintain relationships with both women.
Arshi announces she’ll miss her flight and intends to settle matters once she returns from Dubai. Jhanak assures Arshi that Anirudh will be healthy and well when she gets back. As Arshi departs, Tanuja tries to prevent Jhanak from entering, but Shubh encourages her to go. Anirudh insists, and Jhanak enters the ward with him, affirming her commitment to staying by his side.
