Iss Ishq Ka Rabb Rakha 9th October 2024 Written Episode Update
The episode starts with Ranbir bringing Meghla and her family to a restaurant to treat them. Chandan enthusiastically mentions that Bengali food is the best. Mahua adds that since Ranbir is offering a treat, they should just come along. Chandan makes a joke, laughing along. Adrija makes a remark about Meghla, saying she’s not very smart but asks not to take it to heart. Ranbir brushes it off, saying it’s not a big deal and that having a clean heart is what really matters. He then invites them to try Punjabi food, insisting that Meghla will grow to love it after trying all the dishes. Meghla simply says she prefers rice. Adrija agrees, commenting that Meghla also likes rice but eats less of it. Adrija then says she enjoys Punjabi cuisine, to which Ranbir responds positively, asking them all to sit and enjoy the food. He signals to the waiter to serve the meal.
When the food arrives, they decline the starters and soup. The main course is served, and Mahua remarks on the quantity of food. Ranbir excitedly comments on the delicious aroma. Chandan agrees, thinking they will indeed enjoy the Punjabi cuisine. However, as they start eating, they find the food quite spicy. Mahua says it’s good and tasty, but the paratha and paneer are quite different. Adrija starts coughing. Ranbir teasingly reminds her that she claimed to enjoy Punjabi food. Adrija admits that it’s a bit too rich, stating that simple Punjabi food isn’t usually this spicy. Ranbir insists that the food isn’t very spicy at all. Meghla asks what he means. Mahua agrees with Adrija, saying it’s too spicy for her and that she wants something sweet. Chandan jokes that he will eat sweets first and then finish the meal. Ranbir, still in disbelief, says it’s not spicy at all and jokes that he was thinking of adding more chilli. Chandan, in a humorous tone, asks if Ranbir is made up of chilli. They all dig into the sweets afterward, and Ranbir looks concerned.
He apologizes, saying he didn’t realize they would find the food so spicy. Chandan laughs, saying Ranbir has settled the score, referring to an earlier incident. Mahua playfully adds that they had made Ranbir eat something spicy before, and this was his revenge. Ranbir insists it wasn’t intentional, apologizing again and feeling guilty. Chandan teases, asking if Ranbir plans to marry Adrija, suggesting that she wouldn’t survive such spicy food. Ranbir, feeling bad, asks Meghla why she’s crying. Meghla says it’s because the food is too spicy. When Ranbir turns to Adrija, Meghla interjects, telling him not to ask her to eat Punjabi food again. They all burst out laughing.
Later, Meghla sings “Ye sama…” while Ranbir walks in, smiling as he listens. She notices him, and he says he came looking for her. Confused, she asks what he means. He explains that he’s leaving for Delhi tomorrow and wanted to spend some quality time with her and her family. He apologizes. Meghla reassures him, saying it’s fine and that not every memory has to be sweet; some can be sour and spicy. She adds that she will miss him. Ranbir, touched, says he will miss her a lot too.
