Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 9th October 2024 Written Update
The episode starts with Madhav scolding Sanjay, accusing him of causing trouble. Sanjay, trying to explain, says, “I only wanted to bring two sisters together.” Kajal steps in to defend him, but Madhav is still worried. Meanwhile, Rohit tries to calm Ruhi down, and Armaan suggests they give Ruhi some space.
Abhira, deeply upset, pleads, “My mother wasn’t a murderer. Please, come out and talk to me. It’s all a misunderstanding. Just listen to me.” However, Vidya, filled with anger, retorts, “Abhira is a murderer’s daughter, and yet you’re still supporting her.” Madhav, trying to be reasonable, says, “It’s the police who punish the guilty, not their families. We don’t even know the full truth yet.” But Vidya counters, “Ruhi already told us everything. Abhira is just like her mother. Her mom broke the family and ran away, and Abhira will do the same.”
Madhav and Vidya begin to argue, but Manisha steps in, saying, “Stop it. We don’t really know what happened in Manish’s house. It’s not Abhira’s fault.” Vidya, still concerned, says, “Ruhi is pregnant. She’s just learned something terrible. We need to think about her.” Ruhi, unable to contain her emotions, shouts, “Tell her to leave!” Rohit, feeling the tension, asks Armaan to take Abhira away. Abhira, heartbroken, says, “Ruhi, we are sisters. Please, just talk to me.” But Armaan gently leads her away, while Rohit shuts the door and comforts Ruhi.
Armaan, trying to console Abhira, says, “Give Ruhi some time. She’s in shock. You will have your family back, just calm down.” He hugs her, offering comfort. Meanwhile, Manish visits the temple, pouring his heart out to Matarani. Dadi arrives and consoles him, feeling his sorrow for his daughters. Abhira, on the other hand, stands before the house temple, arguing with Matarani. “You’ve taken everything from me—my dad, my mom, and now my chance to become a mother. You’ve broken my heart today.” She pleads for divine help, while Armaan, standing nearby, tries to comfort her, but she asks him not to interfere.
Dadi, sensing Manish’s burden, tells him, “A family head has a hundred responsibilities, and you don’t have the luxury to bend down. Stay strong.” She performs a tilak on him and encourages him to keep the family together. Armaan, still comforting Abhira, promises, “I will bring your family back to you.” Abhira, emotionally exhausted, lies in his lap as he sings a soothing song, helping her fall asleep.
Later, Manish, seeing two little girls, is reminded of his daughters and becomes overwhelmed with sadness. Sanjay approaches him. Manish, tears in his eyes, says, “It breaks my heart to see my daughters fighting. I thought they would support each other, and I could die in peace.” Sanjay, with a mocking tone, taunts him and laughs. Manish warns, “You should fear God. He settles everyone’s scores right here.” But Sanjay, unfazed, replies, “Then ask God to stop, because this is just the beginning. Watch what I do next.”
Abhira, hearing Ruhi’s shouting, wakes up and rushes to check. Ruhi, packing her bags, declares, “I’m leaving this house.” Madhav and Manisha try to calm her down, with Manisha insisting, “It’s not Abhira’s fault.” But Ruhi remains firm, saying, “I can’t forget the truth—she’s the daughter of my mom’s murderer. Either Abhira stays or I do.”
Abhira, devastated, runs towards Ruhi. Before she can reach her, Vidya pushes Abhira away, scolding her harshly. Armaan steps in, angrily saying, “You can’t talk to her like that!” But Vidya, filled with resentment, retorts, “I don’t want to see your face. I’m not your mother.” Dadi overhears the entire exchange and looks on in shock.
