Suman Indori 8th October 2024 Written Episode
The episode starts with Teerth and Suman covering the badly burnt Rishi with a blanket to extinguish the fire. Suman, distressed, says she won’t let anything happen to him. Rishi, weakly, places Suman’s hand in Teerth’s. Teerth, confused, asks what he is doing. Rishi urges him to listen, then closes his eyes. Suman cries out for Rishi, devastated, while Teerth sits in shock. They rush Rishi to the hospital. Suman desperately pleads with the doctor to save her brother. The doctor reassures her that they will do their best. Teerth, heartbroken, wonders aloud why Rishi did this and breaks down in tears. Bhumi recalls Rishi’s plan and begins to cry. Suman, meanwhile, prays fervently, asking God to take her life instead of her brother’s. Teerth, also crying, tries to console Suman, telling her that Rishi will recover because she is his medicine, and so is he. He insists Rishi will survive and stay with them.
However, Suman, angry, accuses Teerth, saying her brother is in this condition because of him, and shoves him away. Teerth, taken aback, tries to explain that she’s misunderstanding him. Suman, enraged, says he risked her brother’s life for the sake of a political ticket. She reminds him that her brother regarded him as a god, but he treated him like an insect. She goes on to say that she lost her father due to politics, and now her brother, who saw Teerth as the most important person in his life, is fighting for his life. Teerth tries to explain again, but Suman warns him that if anything happens to Rishi, she will destroy him and his political career. Teerth, visibly hurt, says Rishi is like a younger brother to him. Suman, in anguish, shouts back that Rishi is her brother, her entire world. Teerth reassures her that nothing will happen to Rishi, but Suman, furious, throws a hospital trolley at him and demands that he leave. Hema steps in, pleading with Teerth to go. Bhumi, feeling guilty, silently acknowledges that the situation isn’t Teerth’s fault but hers.
Meanwhile, Devika asks where Teerth is. Gitanjali informs her that Rishi has severely burnt himself, and Teerth has taken him to the hospital. Devika, upset, yells that Teerth should be there with them. Soon after, the doctor comes out and says that Rishi wants to see Suman and “Neta ji Bhaiyya” (Teerth). Suman, overwhelmed with emotion, refuses to let Rishi meet him. The doctor insists that Rishi wants to see both of them and pleads with her to understand, emphasizing that Rishi is 75% burnt. Hema, crying, begs Suman to allow Teerth to meet Rishi, suggesting this might be his last wish. Suman, distraught, tells her mother not to say such things, insisting that Rishi will survive. Teerth, desperate, asks the doctor if Rishi will be okay. The doctor, solemn, explains that they are doing everything they can, but Rishi’s condition is critical. He advises them not to waste time and to meet Rishi while they still can.
Back at home, Devika is furious, accusing Gitanjali of allowing Teerth to leave her sister on the mandap. She questions whether her sister and father have no respect. Chandrakant intervenes, asking how she can speak to her mother-in-law like that. Devika, livid, says that today she will cross all limits. Guru also chastises her, but Devika is too enraged to care. She says she doesn’t remember any relations today, demanding that Teerth Mittal come back to marry her sister. Chandrakant, concerned about their family’s honor, urges her to think about their respect. Devika, however, refuses to show any respect for Teerth until he returns. Gajendra sides with his daughter, stating that Teerth had always had a questionable character and that he suspected Teerth would run off after that beggar girl. Chandrakant clarifies that Teerth left to attend to Rishi, who had been burnt. Gajendra dismisses this, asserting that Teerth’s real interest lies with the Sarafa girl. Kritika, feeling abandoned, says that Teerth has indeed left her. Devika, seething, vows to drag Teerth back herself if she has to. Just then, Akhil calls Devika, telling her that he is on his way with the mangalsutra. Devika snaps at him, demanding that he bring Teerth with him or else she’ll throw him out of the house. Akhil is left stunned by her outburst.
Back at the hospital, Suman and Teerth enter Rishi’s ward, deeply pained by the sight of his severe injuries. Suman gazes at Rishi’s burnt hand and recalls the time she tied a rakhi on his wrist, telling him that each rakhi carried her prayers for him. Rishi, in return, had shown her the rakhis he had saved, telling her that he had 22 rakhis and 22 blessings and promising to give her an unforgettable gift on his 24th birthday. Now, Rishi opens his eyes weakly, remembering Gulshan’s words and Teerth’s as well. He realizes that his time may be limited, and only Teerth can protect his sister now. Suman, trying to comfort Rishi, assures him that he will recover soon, reminding him that they are in a large hospital with many doctors looking after him. Tearfully, she asks him why he put himself through so much pain.
In his weakened state, Rishi tries to speak about marriage. Teerth quickly interrupts, telling Rishi that this isn’t the time to worry about his marriage, and reassures him that he won’t leave his side until he recovers. But Rishi, determined, holds Suman’s hand and places it in Teerth’s, asking her to marry him. Both Suman and Teerth are left shocked.
