Megha Barsenge

Megha Barsenge 7th October 2024 Written Update

The episode begins with Megha stating firmly, “No, I can never forgive Manoj. I can’t stay with him; I don’t feel safe. I want a divorce.” Arjun is at home with Shagun. Megha pleads with the judge to grant her divorce, declaring that not doing so would be a disservice to all women. She argues that if someone tortures you and then says sorry, is that true justice? With Navratri celebrations ongoing, she insists they cannot support this devil. Manoj claps and agrees, saying, “She is right. I will eliminate the devil in me; I will change. I promise, I love Megha deeply.” He implores her to give him another chance. The judge notes that Manoj seems to be regretting his actions. Surinder interjects, calling Manoj a fraud. The judge rules that the divorce will not be finalized for six months, as neither party is fully prepared, allowing them time to resolve their issues. He states that they will reconvene for another hearing if they still desire a divorce. Manoj expresses gratitude, claiming that his love has prevailed. He smiles. The judge informs Navjot that Megha and Manoj cannot divorce for six months, and she feels relieved.

As everyone exits, they find Manoj digging a pit. He gets into a heated argument with Megha’s family. Kripal grows furious, but Megha intervenes. She questions his antics. Manoj claims, “I want to repent; give me another chance.” Megha demands he leave, but he refuses, staging a dramatic scene in the neighborhood. He proclaims, “I will stay here!” Goldie comments on his theatrics, showing a picture of Megha and himself looking joyful together.

Manoj sits in the pit, pretending to be sincere. Dolly wonders how they will leave now and makes a jab at Surinder. Goldie suggests they should just leave. Surinder calls Manoj insane. Manoj then begins to sing and shout, “I love you, Megha!” Megha shuts the door in response. Goldie gathers their bags, urging Megha to leave. She insists that Manoj will only cause more trouble, and she refuses to go. Surinder expresses his unwillingness to send Megha away. Ranjeeta, identifying herself as a police officer, enters the conversation. Goldie questions what action can be taken, citing the previous night’s attack on Megha and Manoj’s court order. Surinder and Goldie argue about the situation. Megha intervenes, asserting, “I have run enough; I won’t go anywhere now.” Manoj, undeterred, takes a bath in the street and asks Megha for a towel, even requesting a hug like before. Kripal threatens to strike him, but Ranjeeta insists it’s unnecessary. Goldie urges Megha to let Manoj do as he pleases. Enraged, Megha grabs hot water and, despite Ranjeeta calling her name, she throws it at Manoj, who screams in pain.
