Mera Balam Thanedaar 7th October 2024 Written Update

The episode starts with Bulbul thanking God for helping her enter the house and praying that she can make a place in Veer and his family’s hearts again. Drishti arrives, showing her a “matki,” and says Bulbul must remove her suhaag items with each mistake she makes. She shows her an example of the items tied to it. Bulbul remembers Sulakshana’s words and confidently tells Drishti that as long as God and her mother are with her, she will not give up and will win Veer back. Drishti warns her that though she got in today, she will throw her out during the Dandiya event.

Bulbul arrives at the Dandiya event. Veer and the others watch her. The women gossip that Bulbul has disgraced the family, leading to their ostracization from society. Sulakshana questions Drishti on why she brought Bulbul there. Drishti explains that they need to keep an eye on her and not leave her alone. She silently vows not to give Bulbul any chances. The neighbors speculate that Sulakshana has accepted her. Bulbul, overhearing them, dismisses their gossip, stating that the family hasn’t forgiven her, but she convinced them to make her Veer’s PA. She then forcefully feeds laddoos to the gossiping women and approaches Veer, offering him juice. She advises him to take another glass, as it has no ice. Veer accepts it, commenting on her sharp memory before drinking it. Varnika invites Veer to play Dandiya, and he agrees, joining in. Vardhan suggests Sulakshana join, but she says she only plays Dandiya with him. Vayu, meanwhile, approaches Bulbul and invites her to play, and they begin dancing.

Bulbul approaches Veer, but he ignores her. She imagines him playing Dandiya with her. Drishti, scheming in the background, plans to ruin Bulbul’s happiness. She spikes Veer’s glass with medicine. Veer notices Bulbul’s dress lace coming undone and covers her with her dupatta. She thinks he’s actually showing care. Veer sternly advises her to fix her dress and warns her that her old tricks won’t work on him anymore. Bulbul walks away. Veer, unknowingly, drinks from the glass spiked by Drishti. Bulbul, noticing Veer feeling unwell, takes him to a room. Drishti locks the door, pleased with her plan to trap Bulbul. Bulbul, concerned for Veer, makes him lie down and rubs his feet and hands, worried about his condition.

Sulakshana speaks about how Shiva shared the moon with Parvati, symbolizing their connection. Vardhan explains that it shows they are meant for each other. Mehendi gets applied to Sulakshana’s hand, and Bulbul accidentally holds Veer’s hand, forming a moon shape with the Mehendi. Sulakshana asks where Veer is, and Drishti smugly says she saw Bulbul taking him to the room. Bulbul tries to comfort Veer when Drishti arrives with everyone. Sulakshana slaps Bulbul, accusing her of stooping low. Vayu informs them that Veer is unconscious.

Drishti claims that Bulbul was waiting for this moment to tie Veer down in a forced relationship and calls her penance fake. Bulbul defends herself, accusing Drishti of setting her up. Drishti gets a phone call and smugly reveals a video showing Bulbul bringing an unconscious Veer to the room. Bulbul insists she has no idea how he fell unconscious. Drishti accuses Bulbul of spiking Veer’s drink and tricking him into choosing the other glass. Bulbul tries to explain that someone locked the door from outside and that she was only helping Veer because he was fainting. Vayu asks everyone to hear her out, but Sulakshana refuses, threatening to file an FIR against Bulbul for spiking Veer’s drink. Sulakshana orders Bulbul to leave. Drishti watches with satisfaction. As Bulbul leaves, Drishti sets fire to Veer’s dupatta that Bulbul is holding, taunting her that she won’t even have Veer’s belongings. Bulbul quickly puts out the fire, determined not to let anything happen to anything related to Veer.

The next morning, Veer wakes up with vague memories of the previous night and wonders if Bulbul was with him. Sulakshana, Vardhan, and the others arrive. Veer asks what happened, and Vardhan explains everything. Furious, Veer calls Bulbul, accusing her of doing anything to get him and saying she might think she’s like Menka, but he is not Vishwamitra. Vayu approaches Bulbul with some clothes and asks her what she plans to do. Bulbul resolutely says they need to expose Drishti.

Drishti heads to the market to buy jaggery but finds it’s sold out. Frustrated, she wonders where to buy some. Meanwhile, Bulbul feeds a donkey and vows to teach Drishti a lesson. Drishti, still searching for jaggery, is approached by Bulbul in disguise, offering her some jaggery. Drishti thanks her and, upon Bulbul’s suggestion, also takes some besan laddoo. After eating it, Drishti faints. Bulbul takes her away. When Drishti regains consciousness, she finds herself tied up and standing on a stool. Bulbul tells her that because of Drishti, her husband is angry, and she was slapped by Baba Sa. She accuses Drishti of ruining her life by revealing her true age in front of everyone. Bulbul claims she plans to end her life but won’t die alone; she’ll take Drishti with her. She even sets up two ropes and ties one around Drishti’s neck.

Drishti, panicking, promises to confess everything, admitting that she spiked Veer’s drink and locked Bulbul in the room. Bulbul asks if she’s telling the truth, and Drishti confirms. Bulbul unties her, telling her to go home and confess everything. Sulakshana praises Drishti for her arrangements, unaware that Vayu had brought everything on Bulbul’s instructions. Drishti, realizing Bulbul had believed her, mocks her. Bulbul, however, reveals she had recorded Drishti’s confession. Drishti snatches the phone and pushes Bulbul, about to hit her with a stone. Just then, Kaalratri’s vahan appears, chasing Drishti. She drops the phone and runs away. Sulakshana laments that Bulbul won’t be able to sing the bhajan this year, but Bulbul steps in and sings it, calming the vahan. Grateful, Bulbul asks the vahan to forgive Drishti for today. As the vahan leaves, Bulbul picks up a trishul, warning Drishti that though she’s sparing her because she’s her sister, if Drishti interferes with her penance again, she will forget that they are related.
