Maati Se Bandhi Dor

Maati Se Bandhi Dor 6th October 2024 Written Update

The episode begins with Vaiju rushing to see Ranvijay. The doctor informs her, “We’ve removed the poison and administered the antidote.” Vaiju thanks him, and he credits her, saying, “You saved him by tying the cloth and preventing the poison from spreading.” Aaji and Milind leave. Ranvijay tells her, “You’ve done me another favor, you had your English exam today, go now.” Vaiju replies, “No, nothing is more important than you.” He insists, “Your future is important, go now and be confident.” She playfully argues but eventually agrees. “Fine, I’ll go take the exam, but don’t go anywhere, I’ll be right back.” He asks her to promise, “Don’t stress about me. Focus on studying well and giving the exam.” She replies, “I’ll still worry about you, but I promise I’ll do my best in the exam. Take care.” She leaves.

Meanwhile, Vasundara knocks on the door, calling out to Jaya to open it. Sulekha remarks, “Ranvijay didn’t tell her and left.” Vasundara angrily asks her to keep quiet. Jaya opens the door and hugs her, apologizing, “I didn’t understand… I’m so worried about Ranvijay. If he’s okay or not… why did he lie to us? The day I stop talking to him, he’ll realize his mistake, but by then it will be too late.”

Milind’s car refuses to start. He sighs, “I think the battery is dead.” Vaiju decides, “I’ll take the jungle route.” She starts to leave, and he calls after her, “Wait!” The exam begins as the bell rings. The teacher waits for Vaiju, but the examiner says, “Ring the bell and start the exam.” The teacher hesitates, “Vaiju is a bright student, she’s just late.” The examiner responds, “Students aren’t allowed entry after the first bell.”

Vaiju arrives just in time to hear the bell ring and feels defeated. “I can’t take the exam, all my hard work is wasted.” She apologizes to the teacher, but he hands her the exam sheet. Before she can enter, the examiner stops her, “The first bell has rung, you can’t be allowed in. You’ll have to appear next year.” Vaiju pleads with him, “Please, permit me.” She explains, “My husband is in the hospital, I came from there.” Milind intervenes, “I’m Inspector Milind Apte. Vaiju’s husband was bitten by a scorpion, and she was with him at the hospital. Please allow her.” However, the examiner remains firm. Vaiju continues to beg, and suddenly, Ranvijay wakes up in the hospital. He immediately wants to check if Vaiju made it to the exam hall, but the ward boy stops him.

Back at the exam hall, the examiner apologizes, “Rules are rules. Appear next year.” Milind argues, “Exceptions can be made in medical emergencies.” The examiner agrees, “Yes, show me a doctor’s letter.” Milind assures Vaiju, “I’ll go get it.” As he leaves, Vaiju faints, and the teacher catches her. Milind spots Ranvijay approaching and exclaims, “You’re here?” Ranvijay quickly asks about Vaiju, and Milind explains, “Vaiju isn’t allowed to take the exam. I’m on my way to the hospital to get the doctor’s letter.” Ranvijay realizes it will take too long and decides, “Vaiju will give her exam today.”

Vaiju regains consciousness. The teacher asks the examiner once again to permit her. He apologizes again, “It’s her duty, but in this condition, she can’t go in.” Just then, Ranvijay steps in, “Why can’t she give her exam?” The examiner explains, “She came late, I can’t allow it.” Ranvijay argues, “Rules exist, but so do exceptions. Let’s consult the state education minister. He’ll explain the rules you don’t know.” The examiner hesitates as Ranvijay continues to praise Vaiju, “She was late for a reason. I won’t let you ruin her future. She deserves this chance, and no one can stop her.”

The examiner, suspicious, asks, “Who are you, and how are you related to her?” Ranvijay confidently responds, “She’s my wife.” Vaiju is taken aback, tears welling in her eyes. He continues, “Mrs. Vaijanti Ranvijay Mohite Patil.” Vaiju recalls their marriage. Ranvijay shows his bandaged hand, adding, “I’m her husband. She was late because of me. You wanted proof, here it is.” The examiner finally concedes, “I’ll grant her special permission.” Vaiju smiles, overjoyed, as the examiner permits her to take the exam, even granting her an extra hour. He wishes her luck, and she gratefully thanks him.

Holding onto Ranvijay for support, he encourages her, “Go now, and write your future.” He promises her, “I’ll take care of myself.” Just then, Milind arrives with the doctor’s letter, but Vaiju asks him to take Ranvijay home. She smiles warmly at Ranvijay as she prepares for her exam.
