Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 6th October 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Abhira and Armaan entering their room, both in tears. “Yeh Rishta…” plays in the background. Abhira asks Armaan to pack his belongings, saying they will create new memories. Meanwhile, Dadi is fuming, recalling Vidya’s words as she pours water into a jar. She thinks to herself, “I kept quiet today, but if you make another mistake, the water will overflow, and that day, I will speak up. Then, you won’t be able to hear.”
Abhira and Armaan walk into the baby’s room, and they both start crying. Abhira takes the baby toys outside, then removes the baby pictures, all while crying. “Yeh Rishta Kya…” plays softly in the background. Armaan, distressed, says, “Please, Abhira, don’t…” He holds her, but she walks to the washroom, crying. Armaan is left recalling their past moments together and says to himself, “What did I do to Abhira?” He goes to the washroom door, knocking and apologizing. “I didn’t keep my promise. I’m really sorry.” Abhira eventually opens the door, and he embraces her, pleading, “Give me a chance to make things right. I got my true love and turned away from it. I’m sorry. I will make everything fine.” Abhira, with a heavy heart, says, “It will take some time.” She walks away.
Meanwhile, Rohit is on a phone call, insisting that the best lawyer in the firm handle the case. Sanjay, who is nearby, smiles. Rohit adds, “Abhira and Armaan Poddar are the firm’s most talented lawyers.” Sanjay walks away angrily. Armaan, still emotional, looks at a toy tortoise, and Ruhi brings him tissues. He tells her, “Fate gave you big happiness. Don’t take it for granted.” Ruhi responds, “We all do that. Like I took Rohit for granted, and you did the same with Abhira.” Armaan admits, “I married Abhira and promised to stand by her. I broke that promise. Now, she doesn’t even want to talk to me. What if she can never forgive me?” Ruhi comforts him, “You and Abhira can never truly be separated. We all tried, but your love is stubborn. Don’t give up.” Armaan asks, “Did you find true love in Rohit?” Ruhi nods, “Yes, I realized what true love is, and I want to see you both happy.” Armaan, feeling determined, says, “I will take care of Abhira and try to convince mum.” Ruhi advises, “Mothers’ love can blur the lines between right and wrong. Don’t give in to her unreasonable demands. Everything will work out.” Armaan nods in agreement.
Elsewhere, Vidya and Manisha are discussing Ruhi’s diet and seek Dadi’s opinion. Dadi, still upset, sarcastically responds, “You’re asking me now? You already did Ruhi’s aarti before I could.” Vidya apologizes, explaining she was simply excited. Dadi taunts her further, “You’ve been thinking of your own happiness lately. You used to put family first, but now it’s all about yourself.” Manisha and Kajal quietly observe. Meanwhile, Ruhi wakes up from a troubling dream, remembering her mother, Akshu. Rohit tries to comfort her as she tearfully confides, “It’s the harsh truth of my life—my mother’s death. My Maasi was responsible for it. I just hate her.” Rohit soothes her and steps out to get water. Sanjay overhears Ruhi’s emotional outburst as she says, “Why did you take my mom from me, Akshara Maasi? I hate you.” Sanjay ponders, “If Akshara is Abhira’s mom… could it be?”
The next morning, Armaan offers Abhira breakfast, but she refuses, saying she has an important meeting. Manisha serves aloo paratha to Ruhi, who thanks her. Vidya comes in, concerned, and says, “No need to eat this spicy paratha.” Manisha invites Armaan and Abhira to eat, but Abhira again says she’s running late. Dadi insists they both sit down for breakfast. Ruhi signals to Armaan, who nods. As they eat, Dadi reminds Abhira to eat slowly. Abhira comments, “I shouldn’t take advantage of anything—whether it’s in the firm or the family.” Ruhi then announces, “I don’t want to drink this juice or eat anything. I want to go to Manish’s house. Can I?” Dadi agrees, and Vidya offers to ask Rohit to drop her. Ruhi insists, “No, Abhira will drop me,” and Abhira agrees. Armaan encourages them to go. As they leave, Manisha wishes them a good day, and Ruhi texts Armaan, thanking him for arranging the visit, saying it will cheer Abhira up. Sanjay, distracted, spills coffee, but Abhira saves Ruhi from the hot spill. Ruhi asks if Abhira is okay, while Sanjay starts an argument. Abhira scolds him, “Be careful. Ruhi is pregnant.”
Meanwhile, Manish waits for Ruhi and Abhira, thinking, “They have blood ties. I need to do something for Abhira.” He speaks privately to lawyer Mishra, instructing, “No one in the family should know this.” Mishra assures him, “Don’t worry, Sir.” Sanjay, curious, tries to eavesdrop on their conversation. Later, he approaches Mishra, but the lawyer remains tight-lipped, saying, “Sorry, it’s confidential.” Sanjay hands over some documents, and as Mishra steps away, Sanjay sneaks back and takes a look at the papers. Mishra returns, but Sanjay has already left.
Abhira, meanwhile, tells Ruhi she’ll meet Manish later, but Ruhi insists she comes in and skips work for the day. To their surprise, they see Manish dressed as a golgappa vendor. He playfully urges them to try his golgappas, and they both laugh as they eat. Manish then leads them to a kulfi stall, and they excitedly rush over to enjoy the treat. “Yeh Rishta…” plays once again. Sanjay continues hiding from Mishra, and when Mishra leaves, he checks the papers. Meanwhile, Ruhi suddenly vomits, and Abhira scolds her, “Why did you eat so many golgappas? You need to drink some water.” Manish watches with a smile. Abhira advises, “From tomorrow, you need to eat healthy.” Ruhi grumbles, “No, she’s just making me eat veggies.”
Later, Rohit and Armaan return home and see Abhira and Ruhi laughing together. Armaan thanks Manish for cheering Abhira up, but Manish replies, “It’s all because of Ruhi. You should thank her.” Manish suggests they head home, but Ruhi insists, “We’ll stay here.” Meanwhile, Sanjay, still investigating, reveals, “Manish has given half of his property to Abhira. She is Akshara’s daughter, which means Abhira and Ruhi are sisters. Abhira’s mother was responsible for Ruhi’s mother’s death.”
