The episode opens with Anirudh mentioning that an ad agency reached out to him, expressing their interest in finding a new face for a campaign. He suggested Jhanak’s name but made it clear to them not to mention his involvement, knowing she would likely refuse. He encourages her to embrace this opportunity and work hard to become famous. Anirudh expresses his feelings of misunderstanding in his life, stating, “I love you, Jhanak.” As he thinks about her, Jhanak, filled with sorrow, reflects, “I love you, Sir ji. I can’t live without you. This is the greatest punishment of my life, having to stay away from you. I don’t know how I will manage.”
Mrinalini announces she is going home, prompting Choton to ask why, as he has something important to discuss. Anjana remarks on their newfound friendship and expresses happiness about it. Dadi comments that it would have been wonderful if they had gotten married since Choton lacks direction in his life. Dadi and Anjana tease Choton and Mrinalini about this. Choton mentions he has made a decision, and Anjana asks for clarification, thinking he wants to remain unmarried. Choton explains he is considering marriage and wants to start a family. Anjana inquires if he has a particular girl in mind, while Dadi enthusiastically offers to help find a bride for him, expressing concern that Meenu may no longer want to marry him. Choton becomes anxious, insisting that it is the right time for him to marry.
In another scene, Arshi enters the room and sees Anirudh, questioning why he hasn’t packed yet. He tells her to handle it herself, admitting he isn’t feeling well about their departure. She reassures him, saying she understands his feelings and urges him to focus on packing. Aditya enters, stating he is there to check on their preparations. Jhanak mentions they are only going away for two days. Aditya informs her that the creative director wants to speak with her. Confused, she insists she has already confirmed her attendance. Aditya explains that the director credits Anirudh for her agreeing to participate, noting that he mentioned their successful pairing. Shockingly, Aditya reveals that Anirudh is relocating abroad in two days, leaving everyone stunned.
Meanwhile, Appu and Lalon share a conversation when the Commissioner arrives with a special dish. Appu expresses his delight, mentioning he has always loved that dish and noting that Shubh never provided it for him. Anuradha encourages him to enjoy it. The Commissioner, feeling emotional about their situation, remarks on the wealth that belongs to their husband. This makes Anuradha feel disheartened. Appu inquires if Shubh was previously poor. Jhanak is still grappling with the news about Anirudh’s impending move. She asserts she doesn’t want to hear about him and engages in a heated argument with the man on the phone, who ultimately apologizes for the misunderstanding.
Jhanak expresses her feelings, questioning if anyone cares to know what is in her heart. Aditya, eager to know, prompts her to share. Meanwhile, Anirudh is sorting through his clothes as Arshi insists they shouldn’t waste money on packing. She argues with him, emphasizing they need to prepare for their move. Anjana then discusses Choton’s eagerness to marry, wondering about Meenu. Choton prompts Mrinalini to speak up, but she remains silent, leaving him feeling embarrassed. Dadi and Anjana share their amusement over the situation, while Mrinalini stays quiet.
Kajal arrives, and Appu welcomes her, inviting her to join them. Kajal hands Appu a chocolate, leading Appu to express her happiness about being surrounded by love. Anuradha suggests Kajal should eat, but she declines, explaining she needs to return home to cook for her unwell mother. Appu insists she should stay, but Kajal jokingly resists. Anuradha encourages Kajal to prepare Luchis for everyone, and after some playful banter, they shift the focus back to the reality of their situation. The Commissioner insists they must reclaim what belongs to their brother, explaining he has gathered enough information to take legal action against those who have wrongfully claimed their property. Lalon expresses uncertainty about how to proceed. Anuradha reassures him that it is now their family’s affair. Jhimli asserts that they must stand up for themselves, stating they can prove their worth.
Aditya brings up Anirudh’s departure with Arshi, who highlights his success and the life he will build with his family. Arshi takes a jab at Anirudh, questioning his loyalty, to which he retorts, “Why do you still live with me?” She provocatively asks if he thinks she would return to Jhanak if they parted ways.
