Jhanak 30th September 2024 Written Episode
The episode begins with Arshi asking Anirudh if it’s about Jhanak. He replies no, saying he will freshen up first. He exits. Aditya acknowledges Arshi’s feelings for Anirudh, accepting their friendship. Jhanak expresses her readiness to go for a shoot, and Aditya mentions he will share the ad shoot details with her. She agrees, stating she is ready for the shoot for his sake. They step outside. Mimi suggests they invite Lalon and Appu when preparing special food. Anjana worries about Lalon’s busy schedule, but Mimi insists that the delicious aroma of the food will draw him in. Lalon, overhearing this, gets angry, while Bipasha attempts to console him. He asserts he knows the difference between a joke and an insult and asks her not to preach.
Mimi and Rumi belittle him, making Anjana and Appu uncomfortable. Lalon expresses that he dreams of enjoying all the dishes. Appu chuckles at this. Tanuja tells Mimi and Rumi to stop their remarks and eat. She then makes a taunt towards Lalon. Anjana points out that it’s Lalon and Appu’s first visit, questioning the necessity of Tanuja’s comments. Tanuja argues she didn’t say anything wrong and suggests she should remain silent. Bablu agrees with her, advising her to keep quiet to avoid further insulting Lalon. Lalon stands up, but Mimi encourages him to sit and enjoy the upcoming dishes. Rumi adds that they always have extra food. Bipasha urges Lalon to eat. Lalon replies that while he may be poor, he still intends to eat with dignity. He serves food and encourages everyone to enjoy it since it’s Bablu’s treat. Tanuja interjects, but Lalon tells her not to take offense, claiming it’s just a joke. Mrinalini asks Mimi if she has a response ready, hinting at wanting some entertainment from the situation.
Tanuja asserts that it’s a family matter and that Mrinalini is not part of their family. Choton interjects, saying Mrinalini won’t be an outsider for long and hints at his intention to marry her soon, bringing smiles to Bablu, Lalon, Anjana, and Appu. Appu suggests they have sweets, but Tanuja storms off in anger, while Bipasha, Rumi, and Mimi follow suit. Lalon hugs Choton, thankful for his support.
Arshi requests Anirudh to sign the papers, and Shubh confirms he has prepared them. Shrishti reminds Anirudh that they will take action if he treats Arshi poorly. Tanuja comments that they may never know if Jhanak was truly ill, implying he shouldn’t act for her. Anirudh insists he won’t sign anything, stating that he promised Arshi. Arshi interjects, declaring that his promise holds no weight. Anirudh insists on his plans to go abroad within a week, asking them not to pressure him. Shubh tells Anirudh he’s making a mockery of his marriage, to which Anirudh retorts with veiled insults, indicating that some people never change. Tanuja warns him, while Arshi expresses her disappointment, stating that she still loves him despite his broken promises. Anirudh questions why she continues to stay if she thinks so poorly of him, and Arshi explains that she married him to preserve their families, not to dissolve their relationship.
Anirudh pleads with her not to humiliate him, and Arshi counters by asking if she deserves this treatment. He admits that she does not but claims he never intended to hurt her. When Arshi demands he sign, Anirudh argues back. Tanuja insists he will be relocating abroad in a week and cutting all ties with Jhanak. Shrishti chastises him again, and Arshi presses him to sign the papers, threatening to leave if he doesn’t. Anirudh, contemplating his feelings for Jhanak, concludes that there’s no point in resisting anymore, and he signs the papers. Shubh advises him to read them carefully, highlighting that he must adhere to every condition laid out. Arshi assures everyone he will comply and sever ties with Jhanak. Tanuja expresses her concern over him signing without reading the document. Shubh reiterates the importance of adhering to the terms, hoping nothing goes awry. Anirudh retorts with a taunt and excuses himself, saying he needs some fresh air.
As Anirudh and Jhanak reflect on each other, the song “Tere mere milan…” plays in the background. Anirudh thinks that it might be better for him to distance himself from her, while Jhanak weeps. He contemplates how weary he feels, wishing he could simply cease to exist, but reminds himself that she deserves happiness. He sits in sadness and tears flow down his cheeks.
