Megha Barsenge 29th September 2024 Written Update
The episode starts with Megha falling off her scooty. Arjun arrives and helps her. He asks, “Are you hurt badly? Try walking and see.” She replies, “I’m fine, thank you.” The scooty doesn’t start, and she tries hard to get it going. He says, “I’ll drop you, don’t be stubborn. You can have tea, I’m going for some.” He walks away but returns with tea for both of them. He sprays her sprained foot. She asks, “What are you doing?” He replies, “It’s a spray. You’ve got a sprain, and you know I won’t let you go alone—it’s not safe.” She says, “I can’t expect you to always come.” He responds, “Stop falling into trouble, and you won’t need me.” She starts crying and says, “Did I ask you to come and help me?” He says, “No.” She retorts, “You have a problem with entering my life.” He apologizes, “I admit, it’s my problem. Now I’m asking you to sit in the car.” She insists, “Your duty is done. I’ll go.” He says, “File an FIR against Manoj for cheating, fraud, and domestic violence. File for divorce. Don’t let him get away.” She tearfully asks, “How can I do this? Tell me how? No, I can’t.” He firmly says, “You can do it. Everything has changed.” She questions, “What has changed today?” He sighs, “Don’t argue with me, you trust me, right?” She softly replies, “Yes, but you’ll find someone better than me.” They both sit there, sad. Eventually, they leave.
Megha returns home. Both Arjun and Megha remain upset. The song “Hamari Adhuri Kahani” plays… Arjun and Megha go to sleep. Arjun comes downstairs and sees a tantric performing a puja. He asks Navjot, “What’s going on here?” Navjot replies, “Potli baba will free you from this girl.” She makes a joke about Arjun. Arjun gets irritated and says, “I’m going to deal with this right now.” She stops him, “No, Baba Ji is speaking the truth. I went to Megha’s house and sacrificed many fishes, yet she still showed up here. You’re about to sacrifice yourself for her.” Arjun splashes water on the girl and scolds the tantric. Baba Ji gets angry. Navjot quickly says, “Forgive him, he’s just a kid.” Arjun, now furious, points a gun at the tantric. Navjot panics, “Put the gun down!” Arjun responds, “I have a license. It’s okay if he dies; I’ll handle the investigation.” Navjot protests, “I won’t let you ruin the family’s name! I didn’t marry for the sake of the family! I helped your father become an IPS officer, and now you’re destroying everything I’ve sacrificed!” Arjun acknowledges her efforts, “You’ve worked hard, no doubt. You supported Dad, but I learned from him what a sincere officer is. Dad always says, ‘Duty comes first,’ and my duty is to serve the people.” His mom intervenes, “At least apply a tika before you leave.” Navjot snaps, “Don’t take out your frustration on Mom.” Arjun leaves. Navjot, seething, burns a picture of Megha.
Meanwhile, Megha says, “I’ll iron your clothes.” Ranjeeta refuses, “No.” She holds Megha and notices her injuries, asking, “Did Manoj do this to you?” She hugs Megha tightly. Megha pleads, “Don’t tell Dad anything.” Just then, Dolly enters and announces, “Ranjeeta has been suspended.” Megha is left in shock.
Dolly asks, “Didn’t you tell her what Sikandar did?” Megha is confused, “What did he do?” Surinder interjects, “We’ll tell her, Dolly. You should leave now.” Dolly leaves, and Megha, anxious, asks, “What did Sikandar do? Tell me everything.” Suddenly, Talwar arrives. “I’m KP Talwar. May I come in?” Ranjeeta, surprised, greets him, “Sir ji, you’re here, please come in.” Talwar says, “Arjun’s career is at risk. I’m proud of him—he did his duty to save Megha. But he had to lie in Georgia, claiming Megha was his wife. I know what I’m going to ask is wrong…”
