Anjali reassures Padma not to worry, stating that the police, the press, and she herself are all there to protect her from the goons. Padma responds, saying that she is not concerned about the fight with outsiders but is worried about the fight with an insider like Ginni. Anjali, puzzled, asks what she means. Padma explains that while she may win against outsiders, she fears losing to Ginni. Anjali firmly replies that she will never give up and will defeat Ginni, no matter what.
Meanwhile, Ganesh approaches a tea stall and orders a cup of tea, asking the vendor to add it to his tab. The vendor informs him that his bill has already been paid. Surprised, Ganesh asks who paid it. Ginni arrives and says that she did. She hands him some gifts and suggests that since he can’t manage the household with Anjali’s struggling practice, he should convince Anjali to work as an assistant to her father-in-law, Raghav. Ginni instructs her driver to take the gifts to Ganesh’s house. Ganesh angrily warns the driver not to take the gifts to his home. Anjali’s friends and the tea vendor advise Ganesh to go home and not air family matters in public. Ganesh, visibly frustrated, warns them to stay out of his business.
Ganesh then lashes out at Ginni, accusing her of betraying her sister by marrying the man Anjali was supposed to marry. Ginni, trying to calm him down, suggests they discuss the matter privately at home. Ganesh refuses and says he will speak right there. Ginni then pleads with him to help save her marriage by convincing Anjali to drop the case against Yuvraj and Padma. At that moment, Anjali arrives and understands why Ginni paid their tea bill for the month and brought gifts for their parents. She confronts Ginni, accusing her of being manipulative. An argument ensues between the two sisters. Ginni then tries to emotionally manipulate Anjali, pleading with her to save her marriage by withdrawing the case.
Anjali flatly refuses and reminds Ginni that she had abandoned her when she was attacked and that Ginni is the mastermind behind everything. Ginni, in turn, threatens to destroy Anjali’s career and make her suffer. Anjali stands her ground, promising to thwart all of Ginni’s evil schemes. Ginni then shifts her attention to Padma, attempting to manipulate her emotionally, asking her to return home with her. Padma refuses, reminding Ginni that it was Anjali who stood by her and saved her when she was molested and attacked by Yuvraj and his goons. She tells Ginni that Anjali is the one fighting for her. Furious, Ginni tries to slap Padma, but Anjali grabs her hand, warning her to leave immediately.
Before leaving, Ginni makes one last attempt to manipulate Ganesh, saying she had come to him as a daughter, hoping he would save her marriage, but that he values the law more than his own child. She leaves in tears.
Ganesh, feeling torn, becomes upset that he could not help his daughter. Anjali reassures Padma once again, promising to protect her no matter what. Later, at home, Aman approaches Kamala Devi and complains about how Anjali is rejecting his proposal, and his sisters are making fun of him. Kamala playfully teases him before agreeing to help.
