Anupama 29th September 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Aadhya suggesting that everyone should take it as a game. Kinjal encourages Anuj and Anupama to participate. Anuj and Anupama sit to perform the rasam, placing their hands in the milky water. The song “Nazar ke Saamne” plays in the background as everyone cheers them on. Bala, feeling impatient, asks how long the game will go on. Toshu jokes that the newlyweds don’t even romance as much as they do. Anuj eventually finds the flowers, but Anupama triumphantly retrieves the ring, showing it to him. Dolly, annoyed, leaves the scene, followed by a visibly upset Baa. Indra suggests everyone retire for the night, and they all leave.
Anuj then playfully asks Anupama to stay back and tries the ring-finding game again, where she wins once more. He teases her, asking if she’s accepted his defeat, but Anupama responds, “Kapadia ji, you have won,” calling him Bholuram. Anuj, with a smile, denies being that innocent.
The next day, Anuj helps Anupama by adjusting her saree pleats, while she stitches a button on his shirt. Anupama, feeling nervous about an upcoming meeting, expresses her worries. Anuj, teasingly, suggests they’ll ask her when she’ll agree to marry him. Anupama scolds him for joking at a time like this, urging him to accompany her. Anuj agrees and mentions that Mr. Mehta’s son spoke about a firm that supports startups. He adds that they will interview her, and she worries about the investment. Anuj, however, shares his concerns about his reputation, tarnished by Ankush and Barkha, who have placed his name on the fraudsters’ list. Anupama encourages him to clear his name and move forward. Dolly arrives and offers Anupama curd and sugar for good luck, but accidentally drops the bowl. She apologizes, calling it an abshagun. Meenu and Sagar quickly clean Anupama and Anuj’s clothes, with Meenu confidently stating that they learned from Mami that they should clean up messes, no matter who makes them. Anuj and Anupama are touched by their gesture and leave with a sense of pride.
At the meeting, Mr. Mehta’s son acknowledges hearing a lot about “Anu ki Rasoi” and explains that for the startup boost, she will need to do a live interview. When asked if she’s comfortable in front of the camera, Anupama confidently replies that she is. The reporter begins by asking how the idea for “Anu ki Rasoi” came to be, to which Anupama credits Anuj. She invites him to tell the story, but Anuj hesitates, silently conveying that this is her moment. Anupama, however, insists she doesn’t want to do it without him. Reluctantly, Anuj joins her on camera.
The reporter acknowledges Anuj’s past but brings up the controversies surrounding him. He mentions reading that Anuj is considered a fraud and bankrupt, causing people to lose jobs and money. Anupama firmly defends him, stating that what the reporter read is false. She asks for the facts to be heard before jumping to conclusions.
Anupama then steps up, addressing the camera directly. She declares that Anuj Kapadia is neither a cheat nor a fraud and that these allegations were fabricated to destroy his reputation. She challenges the reporter to ask any of Anuj’s employees or clients about his integrity. She explains that the fraud rumors have been circulating for the past eight months, but in reality, Anuj had a terrible accident during that time and was incapacitated. His brother Ankush and sister-in-law Barkha took advantage of his vulnerable state, transferring ownership of his property, business, and home to themselves. Anupama emphasizes that any financial losses or bankruptcies were due to their actions, not Anuj’s. She passionately states that if given the chance, Anuj would restore the Kapadia empire to its former glory. Anupama assures everyone that she fully trusts him and knows he will succeed. Holding his hand, she brings him forward, stating that all he needs is one chance to prove himself. Anuj silently agrees, nodding in affirmation, while the reporter and Mr. Mehta’s son look on in contemplation.
Meanwhile, in the kitchen, Sagar flirts with Meenu, commenting that the “wife look” suits her. Meenu playfully tells him to stay away, warning that someone might come and catch them. Sagar insists he has the right to be close to her since they are married. Just then, Dolly walks in and angrily throws a glass to the ground, demanding Sagar stay away from her daughter. Meenu defends her husband, telling Dolly not to disrespect him. Hurt, she expresses her wish that Mami, not Dolly, was her mother, leaving Dolly furious.
Later, Anuj thanks Anupama, telling her that the interview was meant to be hers, but she stood up for him instead. Anupama insists that everything is theirs together. Anuj admits that “Anu ki Rasoi” was initially her idea, inspired by her children’s attempts to demoralize her, which ultimately motivated her to create something big. Anupama, in turn, promises to learn from Anuj and become the number one businesswoman. In response, Anuj teases her, saying he’ll continue to romance her no matter what. He then suggests they visit the temple, and as they are about to leave, Dimpy interrupts Aadhya from going to Ansh, causing tension. However, Aadhya brightens up when she sees Ansh.
Anuj and Anupama eventually reach the temple and pray for each other’s happiness.
