The episode opens with Ruhi expressing her relief to Abhira, saying she’s glad Abhira didn’t leave the house. Manish calls to inquire about Abhira, concerned if everything is alright. Abhira quickly intervenes to prevent Ruhi from revealing too much. Ruhi assures Manish that everything is fine, mentioning they were busy with rituals, and Abhira is present. Abhira greets Manish, reassuring him that they are well and he need not worry. Manish expresses his happiness and says he is fine. Ruhi then mentions that Buasa is calling for her. Abhira suggests they continue the conversation later, and Manish blesses them before Ruhi hangs up. Abhira thanks Ruhi for keeping things from Manish. Manish adds that soon, his promise to Akshu and Aarohi will be fulfilled. Swarna asks what promise he is referring to, to which he replies that he wants Ruhi to always be happy. They share a smile. Sanjay mentions that he explained things to Maasa, but she still stopped Abhira and Armaan. Kajal argues with him about it. Ruhi interjects, asking Sanjay not to escalate things. He makes a sarcastic remark about her transformation, and she retorts that she has learned from her mistakes, implying he should look at himself.
Ruhi reflects on Armaan’s words, gazing at his pictures. She declares that she has hurt him, Rohit, and their families, and decides to let go of her stubbornness today, aiming to move forward and find happiness. She burns the pictures, crying as she vows not to dwell on the past and to make a fresh start. Meanwhile, Abhira prepares dinner for Armaan, who is asleep. The song “Pal ek pal…” plays as she gently puts him to bed. She skips her own meal, opting to lie down instead. Ruhi has a minor accident when the couch breaks, and Rohit checks on her. She questions how the couch broke, and he jokingly suggests she may be eating too many sweets. Ruhi promises to fix it tomorrow and insists on sleeping in the guest room, wishing him good night. He reminds her that this is also her room and offers her a place beside him, holding her hand gently.
The next morning, Abhira wakes up and vows to wake Armaan with love. She kisses him, but he suddenly shouts, fearful of losing her. Once he realizes it’s Abhira, she informs him that she is getting ready for the first rasoi ritual. She thinks to herself that she knows he is upset about his mother and wishes he would express his feelings. Meanwhile, Rohit wonders if Ruhi moved to the guest room after he fell asleep. Ruhi enters with tea, asking Rohit about lunch plans and presenting him with some suits. She shares her intention to take Vidya shopping, aiming to find him some formal shirts. Rohit questions her sudden change in behavior. Ruhi recalls Armaan’s words and tears up, requesting him to head to the office. He embraces her, expressing happiness that the old Ruhi seems to be back.
Armaan is taking a shower when Abhira knocks on the door, asking for the engagement ring. Armaan finds the ring inside and tells her to wait a moment. She steps away but ends up slipping, prompting him to catch her. In a tender moment, he nearly kisses her, but he pulls back, remembering Vidya’s curse. He urges her to leave since she’s running late. She reassures him that she’s also concerned about his mother but encourages him to share his worries with her. After she leaves to get ready for the ritual, Manisha informs Abhira that everything is prepared, and she needs to make kheer for everyone. Abhira agrees and begins preparing it. Manisha checks in, asking if everything is alright. Ruhi arrives, and Abhira responds that she is just feeling a bit hungry. Manisha inquires if Armaan didn’t bring kachoris for her, as he had planned with the cousins. Abhira confirms he did, just feeling a little hungry. As she serves the kheer, everyone smiles at her.
Abhira notices that Vidya hasn’t arrived yet and goes to find her. She presents the kheer she made, but Vidya throws the spoon away in frustration. Abhira serves the food to Rohit, who appears sad. Abhira observes his expression. Madhav praises her kheer and offers her shagun, followed by Kajal and others doing the same. Dadi interrupts Abhira, questioning why she isn’t accepting shagun from her. Dadi hands her a letter, which Abhira reads aloud, revealing a job offer at Poddar firm. Armaan looks on curiously as Sanjay mentions the shift in rules. Dadi asserts her authority, saying that only she can change her own rules since it’s her house and firm. She encourages Abhira to accept the position, suggesting it will allow her to spend more time with Armaan, leaving the decision up to her.
