The episode begins with Armaan declaring that they will leave the house, expressing that he would give his life for Vidya, who called him her son. Abhira protests, saying this is his world, to which he replies affirmatively, mentioning that Vidya gave him this world and it’s time for him to give back something to her. He cannot step back now. Abhira pleads with Vidya, saying she loves him and implores her not to do this. Armaan takes Abhira with him as everyone cries.
Abhira insists on speaking to Vidya, but Armaan states that they are leaving, asserting that he is her family. Abhira argues that they can’t abandon their family and that she has the right to decide. As the water jug falls, he expresses that they know Dadi agreed reluctantly, and if Vidya is upset, they cannot remain in the house. He sobs, stating that if Vidya hates seeing his face, then what rights is Abhira talking about. Dadi shows her anger, and Sanjay enters, noting that the house is filled with sadness. He suggests that it may be best for Armaan and Abhira to leave, recalling that Vidya’s anger is sharper than a sword. He emphasizes that Vidya will use that sword soon to expel them from the house. Dadi asserts that she never wanted Armaan to leave.
Sanjay argues that Vidya is heartbroken, and they should support her decision to let Armaan and Abhira go, claiming that Abhira will never fit into their family. He expresses concern that Armaan went against his mother for a girl, suggesting he won’t remain loyal to the family. Rohit is the true son of the family, and Ruhi is the bahu, he concludes, indicating that although it will be sad for Armaan to leave, peace will return. Armaan and Abhira are visibly emotional, with Armaan apologizing for not being a good husband, but Abhira reassures him. He asks her to start packing.
Meanwhile, Rohit stares at a family picture, crying. Ruhi encourages him to talk to Vidya, pleading with him to convince her not to oust Armaan and Abhira. Rohit admits he has no doubt about Armaan’s love for Abhira, but he feels Vidya will not listen to him. They embrace, with Ruhi lamenting that she feels they have no right to judge anyone, as their family is falling apart.
Abhira approaches Vidya, explaining that while Armaan is going with her, she is leaving behind his childhood memories for her. Vidya is in tears as Abhira mentions the picture and the bangles Vidya gifted her, reminding her of the promise she made not to separate Armaan from his family. Abhira drops the picture and picks it up again, asserting that she will not break her promise. She leaves the room.
Krish and the others are glum when Ruhi arrives. She urges them to speak up, affirming that Armaan and Abhira are their brother and bhabhi, but sadly, there’s nothing they can do for them. Someone watches from a distance.
In the morning, Manish looks at old pictures and reflects on how Abhira and Ruhi are in the same sasural, hoping they will stay happy. Armaan tells Rohit that he can call him if needed, to which Rohit insists he can call without a reason. They share a hug, and Rohit promises to help calm down his mom, assuring Armaan he’ll convince her to bring him back. As everyone hugs Armaan and Abhira goodbye, Madhav interjects, and Vidya feeds them curd and sugar.
Armaan inquires about Dadi’s whereabouts, and Sanjay informs him that she is nowhere to be found. The servants then bring out some white clothes, and Pandit ji arrives, announcing that he has been called to perform the Antim Kriya for someone, shocking everyone present.
