Jhanak 26th September 2024 Written Episode
The episode begins with Aditya expressing his desire to order sweets for everyone. A lady informs him that Anirudh has provided 50,000 Rs for sweets for the entire hospital, stating that they initially refused, but he insisted on celebrating Jhanak’s discharge, even though he couldn’t be there in person. Jhanak encourages them to keep the money, and the nurse invites Jhanak and Aditya for dinner, which he agrees to. The lady wishes Jhanak a speedy recovery.
Choton announces that Appu and Lalon have arrived. Appu calls out for Anjana. Dadi and Anjana perform aarti and warmly welcome Appu. Appu, eager to change, says she wants to remove her clothes and wear a frock. Dadi teases her, mentioning how she’ll look after marriage. Appu smiles, and Dadi remarks that she looks like a princess. Bablu arrives to meet Appu and asks if she brought sweets, to which she replies yes. Rumi makes fun of Appu and Lalon, prompting Appu to scold Rumi, who is then scolded by Choton. Bipasha chimes in with her taunts. Appu mentions they will soon have an AC at home, and Lalon agrees. Bipasha tells Rumi to enjoy the drama unfolding. The doctor tells Jhanak to return for a checkup in a month, and she thanks him, expressing her desire to go on holiday after she’s well. However, Jhanak insists on working first.
Anjana hugs Appu, who appears upset. Dadi mentions that Anjana has been unhappy since Appu left, feeling as if she has no purpose. Appu reassures them that Anuradha’s workload has increased, and Kajal has taken good care of her, saying her sasural is very nice and everyone loves her. Bablu affirms that they wanted Appu to be happy. Appu shares sweets with them, while Dadi encourages Lalon to sit. Bablu says they don’t have sweets, and Lalon says it’s alright. Rumi and Bipasha continue their teasing. Tanuja arrives and reminds Rumi to focus on her studies. Rumi replies that she only came to check on Appu. Anjana tells Bipasha to stay back and welcome Appu without any tricks. Bipasha dismisses this notion, stating that everyone is present.
Shubh enters, asking what they received. Lalon mentions he brought sweets, questioning if he did anything wrong. Shubh criticizes the choice of sweets from that particular shop, and Dadi advises them not to eat them. Bablu defends their sweets, recalling that he used to get sweets for Appu from that shop, which they enjoy. Choton questions why they are discussing sweets, while Lalon offers to return the box if necessary. Bablu insists it’s fine. Appu states she will eat the sweets, and Anjana agrees to join her, as does Dadi, stating that even their sasur ji will enjoy it.
Meanwhile, a lady asks Jhanak about Anirudh. Jhanak clarifies that he is her relative. The lady mentions that Anirudh seemed upset when he left. The nurse suggests that Jhanak should marry Anirudh soon, recalling how he was calling out Jhanak’s name and professing his love. Jhanak tears up. Aditya and Jhanak prepare to leave, and Tanuja mentions that Arshi is upset, but she managed to keep her calm. Arshi approaches, and Bipasha makes another joke at Lalon’s expense. Choton attempts to silence her, but Tanuja and Shubh reprimand him.
Mrinalini approaches Appu, asking Tanuja what she was saying about Choton staying in the locality. She praises Lalon’s home, claiming it feels like heaven, noting that Choton will be lucky to go there. Appu smiles, and Mrinalini shares her stories about how rich people sometimes fall to the streets. Shubh interjects, suggesting that she should keep her opinions to herself as a guest. Mrinalini explains that she’s accustomed to correcting children when they err, and Dadi finds this amusing.
Mrinalini emphasizes her connection to the family, declaring she considers herself part of it. Arshi quickly counters that Choton has already made it clear that she’s an outsider. Mrinalini, undeterred, states that Anirudh had said the same, and she believes herself to be family. Appu agrees, expressing that everyone is selfish, and asks Lalon if he would abandon her. Lalon responds affirmatively, stating he needs to go. Mrinalini insists it’s just for one day. Rumi encourages Appu to enjoy the food, and Choton acknowledges that Lalon earns for his meals but wants him to stay.
Appu asserts that she will eat the sweets, and Anjana backs her up. Dadi, too, insists she will partake. As they talk, Jhanak and Anirudh reminisce about their moments together, leading to tears. The doctor informs the nurse that he has administered an injection and that Jhanak will soon recover. When Nidhi approaches Preeta, she expresses her desire to throw a party. Preeta’s eyes widen as she realizes the implications of Nidhi’s plans.
