Mishri 26th September 2024 Written Update
Sulekha performs the aarti for Raghav and Vaani, excitedly announcing her plans for a grand wedding celebration and an even more lavish “grahpravesh” (homecoming) for Vaani. Meanwhile, Raghav, preoccupied with thoughts of Mishri, asks Vaani about her absence. Vaani brushes off his concerns, reminding him that today is their wedding day, and they should be celebrating, not worrying. Raghav, still confused, presses her for answers, and Vaani recounts the events at the hospital. Shocked, Raghav confronts her, accusing her of taking advantage of him while he was unconscious, and declares that he cannot accept this marriage. Sulekha interjects, reminding Raghav that Vaani saved his life, but he explains that he postponed the wedding for a reason. Frustrated, he blurts out that he’s already married to Mishri. Vaani, in disbelief, picks up a knife and threatens to end her life, declaring that she can’t live without him. She slits her wrist.
Raghav screams in terror, only to snap out of it and realize it was just a nightmare. Vaani, unharmed, reassures him that today is special for them, and they should focus on celebrating. Still, Raghav remains distracted, thinking about Mishri. Just then, Mishri, disguised as a nurse, arrives, pretending to be sent by the hospital to care for Raghav post-surgery. Vaani, suspicious, questions her presence, but Mishri calmly explains that it’s standard procedure for the hospital to send a nurse to assist recovering patients. Raghav, skeptical of her mask, is told it’s to prevent infections. Kalpana believes Mishri’s story and welcomes the “nurse,” instructing Ridhi to show her to a room. Relieved, Mishri plans to stay hidden until Raghav fully recovers. Meanwhile, Kalpana warns Vaani that Mishri has escaped from police custody and might try to contact Raghav, advising her to stay alert.
Raghav, growing more frustrated, repeatedly attempts to call Mishri but can’t reach her. In his anger, he throws his phone across the room. Mishri enters, feeling guilty for concealing her identity. She hands him his medication, but he stubbornly refuses to take it. Frustrated, she scolds him, reminding him to think about his health. Raghav snaps back, demanding to know who she thinks she is. Mishri, holding back her emotions, responds that she’s just his nurse and urges him to take the medicine for the sake of his loved ones. Reluctantly, Raghav agrees. Mishri then asks why he’s so upset. Raghav vents that Mishri hasn’t visited him since he woke up from his coma, calling her foolish. Holding back tears, Mishri subtly suggests that he should focus on his new marriage and his wife, not someone else. Raghav complains that women always complicate things, and as he feels pain in his hand, Mishri moves to help. Just then, Vaani barges in, scolding Mishri and ordering her to leave. Raghav defends her, explaining that she was only helping him. Vaani apologizes and tells him to call her if he needs anything.
Chithra, noticing something off about the nurse, pulls off Mishri’s disguise and drags her in front of everyone. Vaani, furious, demands to know how Mishri dared to enter her home again. Parvathi steps in, arguing that if Mishri was present at the hospital, then it was she who saved Raghav, not Vaani. Vaani counters, citing the priest’s declaration that only Raghav’s wife could save him, implying that she was the one. Parvathi refuses to accept this, but Kalpana jumps in, insulting Mishri and accusing her of being shameless. Vaani threatens to take Mishri to the police station, but Raghav intervenes, insisting that Mishri saved his life. He emphasizes that today is supposed to be a joyful day for him and he doesn’t want it overshadowed by Mishri’s presence. Reluctantly, Vaani agrees and pushes Raghav to focus on the party. Suddenly, a cocktail glass shatters mysteriously. Vaani and Kalpana exchange smirks, while Mishri grows suspicious, sensing that something sinister is at play.
