Jhanak 24th September 2024 Written Episode
The Episode starts with Arshi arguing with Tanuja. Bipasha tries to calm her down, saying, “We all support you, please try to understand.” Arshi responds, “I can’t tolerate this anymore. My mom scolded me a lot because of Anirudh.” Bipasha reassures her, “Shrishti is just worried about you, that’s why she’s strict. We all care for you, we love you. Please don’t leave the house.” Lal agrees, adding, “Yes, let’s see what excuse Anirudh makes this time. He must follow the rules.” Shubh chimes in, “Anirudh doesn’t listen to me either.” Tanuja concludes, “If Anirudh doesn’t shift abroad, then do what you feel is best, Arshi. We won’t stop you. If you break ties with him, we will break all ties with him too.” Bipasha says, “Anirudh doesn’t even know about Jhanak’s situation.” Lal continues, “Anirudh got furious when he found out about Jhanak’s pregnancy, but now he seems obsessed with her.” Tanuja suggests, “You should go after Anirudh.” Arshi, feeling conflicted, replies, “What’s the point? He’s going to do whatever he wants. I’ll give him an ultimatum when he comes back. If I don’t get his commitment, I’m leaving, and I’ll file for a big compensation. Let’s see how long this thing with Jhanak lasts.”
Meanwhile, the doctor informs that the patient’s condition has improved, and they can meet her. Aditya confronts Anirudh, saying, “You do wrong and yet, you’re the one who should be worried. Jhanak didn’t call you here, she only informed you. You made her lose everything, even her career. You’ve done nothing good for her. We may not be family, but I’m here for her. You and your family ruined her life.” Anirudh, defending his family, replies, “Say what you want about me, but don’t drag my family into this.” The two continue to argue as they try to meet Jhanak. The ward boy intervenes, asking them not to fight. Anirudh rushes inside to see Jhanak, while Aditya warns, “If her condition worsens because of you, you’ll regret it.”
Anirudh enters the room and asks Jhanak how she is feeling. He tells her, “You’ve told me everything, now let me handle it.” Jhanak, visibly upset, says, “I shouldn’t have told you anything. I was in pain and made a mistake. I know now that Anirudh and Jhanak cannot be together.” Anirudh tries to reassure her, “No, give me a chance. I need to say this—I love you, Jhanak.” She doesn’t believe him, calling it a lie. He asks, “Do you need proof? I went to the temple to pray for you.” She cuts him off, saying, “Stop it. You think leaving Arshi for me is the right thing to do? Why? What has she done wrong? You will leave me the moment it concerns your family. I have no respect left for you.”
Anirudh, shocked, asks, “What do you mean?” She responds, “I’m glad I’m not carrying your child. He would have been just like you—a liar, selfish, a cheat. It’s my mistake that I was weak enough to reach out to you. But I won’t make that mistake again. I’m starting over, and I don’t want you in my life.” Anirudh, visibly hurt, asks, “What do you want from me?” She replies, “Whatever I want, you aren’t the person who can give it to me.”
Anirudh mentions Aditya, but Jhanak stops him, saying, “That question doesn’t matter anymore. I don’t love you. I just want you to leave.” In her heart, she thinks, *I know you love me, but I can’t destroy your family. You need to stay with Arshi.* Anirudh, realizing her decision is final, asks, “Is this really what you want?” Jhanak, holding back her tears, says, “Yes. I’m tired, I need to rest. Just go.” Anirudh suggests, “The doctor said you need a break, maybe a holiday—” but she interrupts, crying, “I hate you, that’s the truth.” Anirudh refuses to accept it, but she insists, “It’s the truth. You are selfish and a liar. Leave my life.” As the song *Pyaar Jhuta Tha* plays, Anirudh, heartbroken, walks out, leaving Jhanak in tears.
