Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 24th September 2024 Written Update
The Episode starts with Swarna and everyone asking the pandit about the mahurat. The pandit informs them that the mahurat has passed, but another one will come in 30 minutes, which occurs only once in 1000 years. Everyone smiles at the news. Abhira comments that Manish is evergreen, to which Manish responds that he means Madhav and Swarna. Swarna laughs. Armaan urges the pandit to hurry up. Surekha reminds everyone that they still have time and suggests they go freshen up. Madhav offers to help Armaan with the pagdi. Dadi calls for Vidya to join them.
Swarna receives a message from Ruhi and reads her excuse, saying that maybe Ruhi doesn’t want to attend the marriage. Vidya comes out, ready, and Charu tells her that Abhira has planned a lovely surprise. Abhira enters, holding a garland, and begins to sing “Tujhse mera jeena marna…”
They notice their pictures adorning the garland. Manish becomes emotional as the cousins arrive to tease them. Krish blindfolds them and proposes a game to see if they can find each other. Armaan and Abhira successfully locate one another and wear the garlands. Armaan declares that he and Abhira are like heart and heartbeat, and no one can separate them. “Hamari banno pyaari…” plays in the background.
Manish congratulates Akshu for her daughter’s marriage. The pandit instructs Armaan’s sisters to perform the gathbandhan. Abhira adds that they have a chorus gang present. Armaan insists that all their brothers should participate in the gathbandhan. Rohit ties the gathbandhan, while Krish jokingly reminds them that they must tolerate each other for life now. Manish smiles at the moment.
Manisha mentions she had placed the mangalsutra in a specific spot. Manoj questions who took it, leading to some lighthearted teasing. Sanjay overhears their conversation. Everyone starts searching for the mangalsutra. Armaan and Abhira share playful banter as they talk. Aryan inquires about what they’re looking for. Manoj informs him that the mangalsutra is missing. Kiara expresses her disbelief, pointing out that the elders are being careless. They all join in the search.
Rohit tries to call Ruhi, wondering where she is since she isn’t answering. The pandit calls for the bride’s parents to come forward for the kanyadaan. Abhira glances at Manish, who takes Swarna and approaches. Madhav encourages Vidya to come along and explains about Vardaan.
Manisha and Surekha urge Vidya to join them. Vidya sits quietly, looking upset as she watches Abhira. Manish and Swarna think of Akshu during the kanyadaan. They perform Abhira’s kanyadaan, and Madhav places Armaan’s hand in Abhira’s while joking. The search for the mangalsutra continues. Sanjay finds it but decides to hide it. Armaan and Abhira take their wedding rounds, making vows and smiling at one another. Vidya observes them quietly. The pandit announces that the rounds are completed and instructs them to apply the sindoor and place the mangalsutra on the bride. Armaan then realizes that the mangalsutra is missing.
