Maati Se Bandhi Dor 25th August 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Ranvijay questioning why Vaiju always calls him delicate and a namesake villager. Vaiju playfully agrees, pointing out that he took cover under a shade as soon as it started raining. He defends himself, saying he has an important meeting and the client is already there, so he needs to call the manager. He calls the manager and asks him to apologize to the client on his behalf. He then calls out to Vaiju, who surprises him with an umbrella made from large banana leaves. Confused, he asks what it is. She confidently tells him to ride the bike while she holds the makeshift shade, standing as his shield. He hesitates but ultimately agrees, trusting her. They set off on the bike together, and the song “Behta hai mann kahin…” plays in the background.
As they ride, they engage in conversation, and Vaiju holds onto him. Ranvijay smiles, feeling a sense of peace he hasn’t felt in a long time. He wonders if there’s some magic in the raindrops and thinks that maybe this is the moment Vaiju had been talking about. Meanwhile, Vaiju reflects on how she had once dreamed of spending her entire life with him, but now he’s no longer with her in that way. Kaveri, who is nearby, notices them but doesn’t recognize their faces. She wonders who the girl with Ranvijay might be. Suddenly, Ranvijay and Vaiju lose balance and fall off the bike. Concerned, he asks if she’s hurt. She reassures him that she’s fine. He notices his clothes are dirty and worries about how he’ll go to the mill, but she apologizes for the mishap.
He gently holds her face and thanks her for showing him the beauty of rain, saying he feels good today because of her. She smiles, and they both jump into a puddle, playfully splashing around and enjoying the moment. Eventually, he suggests they head home, and they leave.
At home, Vasundara expresses her frustration that Ranvijay is late, reminding everyone that they have an important puja. Jaya reassures her that he’ll be back soon, explaining that he had an important meeting. Kaveri arrives and asks if they know about his so-called important meeting. Jaya, confused, asks what she means. Kaveri reveals that she saw Ranvijay with a girl, riding on a bike together. She warns Jaya not to blindly trust him. Sulekha asks Kaveri who the girl was, but Kaveri admits she couldn’t see her face. Sulekha, feeling bad for Jaya, expresses her concern. Just then, Ranvijay and Vaiju arrive home. Vaiju sneezes, and Ranvijay teases her about catching a cold. He too sneezes, and they both laugh. Noticing that Vaiju is shivering, he wraps a towel around her and tells her not to pretend to be strong since she’s clearly cold. She insists that he go inside, and he does.
Meanwhile, Vasundara stops Sulekha from confronting Ranvijay. Sulekha, however, is determined to ask him, saying she can’t stand the thought of the family losing its respect. She argues that Kaveri accused Ranvijay today, and soon the villagers might start questioning him too. Ranvijay, overhearing, intervenes and asks what’s going on. Kaveri explains that she saw him with a girl on his bike and was concerned for Jaya, which is why she brought it up. Jaya, standing by her husband, asserts that she trusts Ranvijay and defends him. Sulekha presses him to reveal who the girl was. Vaiju steps forward and confesses that she was the girl with Ranvijay. She explains that Ranvijay had taken her to the fields so she could speak with Aaji, but they got caught in the rain and ended up falling off the bike. Jaya echoes Vaiju’s explanation to Sulekha. Sulekha then points out that it was Kaveri who first suspected Ranvijay.
Kaveri, realizing her mistake, apologizes. Vaiju advises Kaveri that she shouldn’t have questioned Ranvijay in front of everyone and suggests she could have asked him privately. She reassures everyone that she knows Ranvijay well—he only loves Jaya and would never hurt or betray her. Kaveri apologizes once again, explaining that she was only worried for Jaya and that not every husband is unfaithful.
