Mangal Lakshmi 22nd September 2024 Written Episode Update

Scene 1
Karthik says, “Come, let’s go.” Lakshmi hesitates, saying, “Adit bought this saree for Mangal, and he mentioned getting it from Chandni Chowk.” Karthik reassures her, “There are plenty of similar sarees out there in the market. Don’t stress about it. Just focus on the wedding. You’re going to look stunning, don’t worry.” Lakshmi nods and leaves.

Meanwhile, Shanti instructs Soumya, “Start decorating the house. It’s my daughter and son-in-law’s wedding, after all.” Soumya, visibly annoyed, follows orders. Shanti adds, “Make sure you put up the roses. You’ll be sleeping in the hall with the rest of us.” As everyone drifts off to sleep, Soumya quietly tries to sneak out. She picks up Mangal’s wedding dress and whispers to herself, “I’ll erase Adit from your life.” Mangal enters the hall, noticing her dress out of place. Confused, she wonders aloud, “Who left my dress here?” Meanwhile, Soumya secretly takes pictures of the dress.

Lakshmi calls Mangal and asks, “Where’s Soumya?” Mangal replies, “She’s asleep in the hall.” Adit, overhearing, grows suspicious of why Kusum is keeping Soumya under such close watch. He calls Soumya, telling her, “Come outside.” As she sneaks out, Soumya accuses him, “You just want me to leave so you can enjoy your wedding in peace, don’t you?” Lakshmi arrives suddenly, and Adit quickly pretends to be on a work call. Shanti wakes up, questioning Soumya, “Where did you go?” Soumya casually responds, “Just to the bathroom.” Adit, quick to cover his tracks, tells Lakshmi, “I’m handling some work calls,” while discreetly deleting his call logs.

Scene 2
The next morning, Mangal gets ready and performs the arti with everyone. Kusum and Shanti shower her with blessings. Lipika video calls Lakshmi, and the whole family wishes Mangal a happy anniversary. Soumya, trying to blend in, asks, “Can I get some arti too?” Just then, a delivery man arrives with a package. Soumya claims it, “That’s mine.” Shanti, curious, asks, “What’s inside?” Soumya responds, “Just some clothes for the wedding.” Shanti insists, “Show us.”

Meanwhile, Adit is getting dressed for the occasion. Akshar compliments him, “You look like a movie star!” Gayatri asks Lakshmi to tie Adit’s turban, which she does with care. Adit asks her, “What do you want for the Naig?” Lakshmi, serious, replies, “Can you promise me that you’ll always keep my sister happy? You must be honest in this marriage and always stand by her side.” Adit, with conviction, says, “I promise. I’ll honor all seven vows.” Karthik joins in the celebration, dancing with Akshar. Mangal, feeling overwhelmed, tells Kusum, “Let it go. We don’t need to make a fuss about the dress.”
