Parineeti 22nd September 2024 Written Update
Neeti meets with Daljeet and tells him that Parvati has threatened to expose her in five days, so they need to deal with her. “You have to kill her,” she insists. Daljeet, puzzled, asks, “How can I do that when I’m stuck in jail?” Neeti reassures him, “No one will suspect you since you’re here. Once Pari is out of the way, you can do whatever you want with Bubbli. I won’t stop you. But first, you need to handle Pari.” She proceeds to explain the plan.
Meanwhile, Sanju is driving home, confused. “Why did she call me if she was going to sleep?” he wonders and tries to call her. At the police station, Pari answers his call, but as the inspector starts speaking, she quickly hangs up when she spots Pami arriving. “Why are you here?” Pari asks. Pami explains, and Neeti joins them, saying they came to meet Daljeet. The inspector denies another visit, but Pari begs, explaining that Pami is a mother. The inspector relents, allowing Pami to meet Daljeet. Just then, Pari gets a call and steps outside. Neeti quietly follows her.
Neeti sees Sanju calling Pari and angrily demands, “Why is my husband calling you?” Pari replies, “I don’t know, maybe it’s work-related.” Neeti accuses her, “What’s going on between you two? He’s mine! You’re trying to steal him!” Pari retorts, “I’m not like you. I’ll put you in your place. I’m going to expose you too.” Neeti, furious, threatens, “I’ll kill you in 24 hours, just like I killed you before.” Sanju arrives at the police station, overhearing this. Pari tells him, “She just confessed to killing your Pari.” Sanju, stunned, yells at Neeti, “Why did you kill my Pari?” Pari walks away, leaving Neeti speechless. Sanju warns, “I will have you put behind bars.”
Meanwhile, Daljeet vents his frustration to his cellmate, “My mother is coming to meet me, but I don’t want to see her. She never loved me. I don’t care about her at all. I hate her. She was never there for me.” Unbeknownst to him, Pami is hiding nearby, overhearing every word.
Back at the station, Sanju confronts Neeti, demanding an explanation for why she killed Pari. Neeti defends herself, “You’re really going to believe Parvati over me? You should trust me. Do you really think she’s incapable of lying? I was there for you when you were devastated after Pari’s death. I won’t let you treat me like this.” She challenges him, “What proof does Parvati have that I killed Pari? Who even is she? Does the law work on accusations without evidence or witnesses? Do you really think Parvati is telling the truth?” Sanju replies, “You’re saying Parvati lied just now?” Neeti nods, “Yes, and it’s a cheap accusation. Was she even there when Pari died? Does she have proof? She’s just taking revenge because I wronged her, and now she’s trying to ruin our relationship.” She adds, “You’ve shown me today that you don’t respect me. I thought you trusted me, but clearly, I was wrong.” Sanju looks conflicted.
Later, Pari returns home and finds Ambika waiting. Ambika asks, “Where did you go?” Pari replies, “I went to meet Daljeet, but the inspector didn’t allow it.” Ambika inquires if Sanju was there too. Pari nods, “Yes, he came earlier to give some video footage.” Ambika tells her, “Tomorrow, we’ll go to the Bajwa house for the pooja and then to the police station together.”
Neeti, still upset, tells Sanju, “You keep treating me like this, and I know it’s because you think I’ll just accept it because I love you unconditionally. You’re my everything, but I can’t do this anymore. I need to know you love me like you did when we first met. Tell me you still love me.” Sanju stays silent, looking away. Hurt, Neeti continues, “It’s clear now that you don’t trust me or my love. I’ve been a fool to think you’d trust me over Parvati just because she looks like Pari. If she asked you to, you’d even leave me to die alone.” Her voice cracks as she says, “You’ve hurt me so much, but today, you’ve broken my heart completely. You’ve shown me my real place in your life. I’m nothing more than someone you leaned on after Pari died, and now that Parvati is here, I’ve become irrelevant.” With that, she leaves, leaving Sanju standing in silence.
