Jagriti 21st September 2024 Written Episode Update

The episode begins with Bindi expressing her concerns to Jaggu, wondering how she will gather such a large sum of money. She tells Jaggu, “The men in this village risk their lives to earn money. How will you manage?” She praises Jaggu for having a heart as pure as gold and silver. Suddenly, Bindi gets an idea and rushes off. Jaggu, confused, chases after her, asking where she is going.

Bindi arrives at Harish’s house and starts searching for something. Jaggu, puzzled, asks, “What are you looking for?” Bindi finds Gita’s anklet, the one Harish had bought for her but never had the chance to give her. She hands it to Jaggu, saying, “This belonged to your mother. Harish bought it for her.” Jaggu clutches the anklet tightly, feeling an emotional connection to her mother. Bindi suggests selling the anklet, saying, “You can get 100 rupees by selling it. Then you can give the money to Durjan and apologize. Maybe that way, he will release you from his condition.”

Just then, Mangla enters, snatching the anklet from Bindi’s hand. She scolds Bindi for taking on the responsibility of Jaggu seven years ago and blames both Jaggu and her mother for Harish’s current state. Mangla demands that Bindi and Jaggu apologize to Durjan. However, Jaggu defiantly asks, “Why should I apologize? And for what?” Determined, she declares, “I’ll earn the money myself!” She runs off, heading toward the jungle, eventually arriving at the Ram temple.

Kachori, a mischievous girl, throws something at Jaggu, causing her to turn around. “Kachori, you’re here?” Jaggu says, surprised. Kachori smiles and says, “I brought you 100 rupees.” She hands over a 10-rupee coin, and Jaggu, puzzled, asks, “Is this really 100 rupees?” Kachori, thinking she’s being helpful, replies, “Yes! I saw Dadda give it to my Amma, so I took it from her trunk.”

Jaggu immediately urges Kachori to return the money, warning her that her mother will be furious. “She’ll fry you like a kachori,” Jaggu teases. Kachori dismisses the warning, but Jaggu focuses on her task. She notices a honeybee hive hanging on a tall tree and confidently says, “I’ll earn the money myself.” She takes out a leaf and imprints the design of the 100-rupee note on it, determined to gather enough to save her father.

Meanwhile, Golu, seeing the interaction between Kachori and Jaggu, snatches the money from Kachori. He runs to his mother, who immediately scolds Kachori for stealing and accuses Jaggu of leading her astray. Nanda, hearing the commotion, is further incited against Jaggu. Golu asks Kachori, “How is Jaggu going to earn the money?” Kachori reveals Jaggu’s plan, and Golu smirks, sensing an opportunity for trouble.

Back at Harish’s house, he begins coughing and tells Mangla, “I’m thirsty.” Mangla offers him water, but Harish refuses, demanding wine instead. Bindi interjects, reminding him, “Vaid ji said no alcohol for your health. Jaggu even fought with Dadda to protect you.” Mangla insists Harish drink water, but he refuses. Upon hearing what Jaggu has done for him, Harish rushes out of the house, despite Mangla and Bindi’s efforts to stop him.

Meanwhile, Jaggu stands in the jungle, remembering how Nanda had once been stung by honeybees and how painful it was for her. Undeterred, she stares at the honeybee hive hanging high in the tree. She whispers a prayer to the honeybees, “Please let your sting be as sweet as your honey. I need this honey for my Baba’s treatment.” Resolutely, she starts climbing the tree, ready to take on the challenge.

Elsewhere, Ballu encounters Harish and offers him wine. Remembering Bindi’s words, Harish refuses and runs away, leaving Ballu disappointed. A bystander remarks, “Let him go.” But Ballu, refusing to give up, says, “Harish is like a tiger. I want to keep him drunk, always.”

Back in the jungle, as Jaggu climbs the tree, Golu and his friends watch from a distance. They hatch a cruel plan to disturb the hive using a catapult, hoping to cause trouble for Jaggu. Unaware of their mischief, Jaggu continues climbing. As she nears the top, she spots Harish approaching and looks down, surprised to see him coming her way.
