Jhanak 21st September 2024 Written Episode
The episode starts with Jhanak saying, “I’m not afraid of death.” Anirudh tries to stop her. The nurse, overhearing, says, “Why are you talking about death? The doctors are capable.” She then asks Anirudh, “Are you her husband?” Anirudh nods in agreement. The nurse smiles, “I thought so. You’re probably away most of the time because of work, right?” Anirudh responds, “You could say that.” The nurse takes Jhanak away.
Meanwhile, Bipasha comments, “Jhanak trapped Aditya. He’s wealthy, but she lost him too. Now, with her pregnancy, Aditya probably made up this whole situation to avoid any responsibilities for the child’s treatment.” Shrishti agrees, saying, “You’re right, Bipasha. I have no doubts now.” However, Vinayak interjects, “No, I don’t think Jhanak would do such a thing. We don’t know the whole truth yet. It could be a real tumor, and I feel like she’s getting trapped in something bigger.” Arshi, growing frustrated, says, “I’m done with all this.” She leaves the room. Shrishti, firm in her stance, says, “I won’t tolerate this anymore. Let Jhanak and Aditya do whatever they want, but Arshi deserves her rights.” Bipasha adds, “Shubh has been informed, and he’s on his way.” Tanuja says, “Let’s wait until he arrives.” Shrishti insists, “No, we must handle this now.”
Vinayak, trying to mediate, says, “We need to talk to Anirudh and ensure we have legal support. If Jhanak’s telling the truth, then Anirudh is to blame. If Jhanak is fabricating all this, then she has some serious explaining to do.”
In the hospital, Jhanak is undergoing treatment. Both Aditya and Anirudh anxiously wait for news. They ask a doctor about her condition. The doctor informs them, “Her condition is critical. We’ve performed surgery, but there’s excessive bleeding, and we can’t seem to stop it. We need to arrange for more blood, but there’s a problem — her body is rejecting it. At this point, we can only hope for a miracle.”
Anirudh, alarmed, says, “What are you talking about? You need to do something!” Aditya, blaming Anirudh, says, “This is all your fault. You insulted her, tortured her. You’re the reason she’s here now.” Anirudh retorts, “Shut up.” The doctor intervenes, saying, “This isn’t the time for blame. Pray that she pulls through.”
Back at the house, Bablu enters and calls for Anjana. Choton greets him, and they talk about an upcoming match. Bablu says, “I’m planning to retire soon. There’s only one life, and I want to enjoy it. Watching this match is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time.” Choton assures him, “I’ll get tickets to all the matches for you. Remember when Dad used to take us as kids?” Bablu smiles, “Yes, we all used to go together.”
Bipasha overhears their conversation and thinks, *They’re planning to bring back that burden, Appu. I’ll make sure that doesn’t happen.* Bablu, reminiscing, says, “You did a lot for Appu’s wedding, Choton.” Choton, downplaying his efforts, says, “It’s nothing, really. You did so much for me.”
Anjana enters, excited, “I’ve been saving up for Appu’s visit. I can’t wait to show you all the special things I’ve prepared for her.” Choton pulls out a gold chain and proudly shows it to Bablu. Bablu, touched, says, “You’ve saved so much money for this?”
Meanwhile, Tanuja and Bipasha watch from a distance, with Tanuja sarcastically commenting, “So they act poor now, huh?” Bipasha nods, “Next time, we shouldn’t spare them.”
Back at the hospital, Aditya accuses Anirudh, “You left your wife to die alone. And now you’re here causing drama.” Anirudh, not backing down, asks, “How long have you known Jhanak?” Aditya brushes it off, saying, “That doesn’t matter. Her treatment is what matters now.” The doctor tells them both, “Pray for a miracle.” Anirudh walks away, upset, while a bystander asks Aditya about his connection to Jhanak. Aditya replies, “He’s got nothing to do with her.”
At the house, Arshi returns and confides in Vinayak, “I need to talk to you about Anirudh. He’s changed. He used to be so loyal and loving, but now he’s different. He’s even admitted he made a mistake by not believing Jhanak.” Vinayak reassures her, “I know how you feel, but Anirudh is just trying to help Jhanak.”
Arshi, unconvinced, says, “No, something is wrong. He’s doing too much for her.” Shrishti enters, agreeing with Arshi, “Yes, he’s definitely changed.”
Meanwhile, Tanuja taunts Choton, accusing him of not doing enough for the family. Bablu, defending his son, says, “Don’t speak ill of Choton. Everyone knows the sacrifices he’s made.” Bipasha chimes in, “New jewelry has arrived for Appu, but Anjana didn’t even show it to me.” She takes the box and sees silver anklets inside. She sneers, “This is what they’ve been saving for?”
Choton and Bablu try to stay calm, but Tanuja and Bipasha continue their taunts. Finally, Dadi intervenes, scolding them, “Enough! Don’t speak to my son this way. Everyone contributes in their own way. If you have nothing productive to do, leave the room.”
In the hospital, doctors frantically try to save Jhanak. One doctor says, “This injection is our last option.” Another says, “We have no time left. We must act now.” The medical team debates their next steps, hoping for a miracle.
