Mishri 20th September 2024 Written Update
The episode starts with Anupama recalling Pakhi’s harsh words, where she mentioned that they have friends and can manage in their house, dismissing any help from Anupama. Pakhi then nervously asks Toshu if they’ll be alright. Toshu says it feels like everyone is out to get them. Pakhi, feeling uncomfortable, complains about mosquitoes biting her and their clothes being wet. She’s upset that Anupama didn’t even let them take their handbag. Toshu, trying to lighten the mood, reveals that he found their dad’s credit card while searching for the property papers. Pakhi gets excited and suggests they go shopping and let their father receive the hefty bills. Toshu jokingly agrees, and they decide to check into a hotel.
Meanwhile, Anupama wakes up everyone at Asha Bhavan and hands them brushes to freshen up. She gives Baa a comforting hug, trying to lift her spirits. Kinjal heads off to make tea while the others, including Dolly, Dimpy, and Indra, wait in line for the bathroom. A lighthearted atmosphere is maintained with the song “Thoda Hai Thode Ki…” playing in the background. Kinjal serves tea and prepares parathas, while Aadhya helps the kids take a fun bath outdoors. The scene portrays a sense of unity despite their hardships.
Later, Anuj encourages Baa and Babuji to perform the aarti. Afterward, Anupama finds Anuj making several calls in search of a job, though unsuccessfully. An emotional moment follows as the two share a quiet bond, with the song *Mere Pass Hai Tu* playing in the background. Anuj, feeling down, begins to write on a paper placed on Anupama’s back. Just then, he receives a message from a former competitor offering him a job. Anupama asks if he feels disheartened by this situation, but Anuj remains determined, saying he has many responsibilities and won’t rest until everything is taken care of, especially winning over Mahi’s heart.
Baa watches Dolly and Dimpy setting up a tarpaulin. Bala suggests selling Baa’s bangle for money, but Bala assures her that there’s no need, and they will manage. Dimpy and Dolly, meanwhile, complain about the workload at Asha Bhavan. Dimpy insists she won’t leave without her share of the family’s assets, while Dolly mentions she’s also waiting for her share. Meenu, overhearing the conversation, gets confused. Dolly reassures her daughter, saying they will go back to the US together once everything is sorted.
At the hotel, Toshu and Pakhi are enjoying their luxurious stay. Pakhi takes selfies to flaunt their situation on social media, hoping to make others jealous. Meanwhile, Aadhya shows the pictures to Kinjal, who shakes her head at Toshu and Pakhi’s ignorance, reminding Aadhya that credit cards have limits. Kinjal warns her not to inform Anupama about it.
Back at Asha Bhavan, Bala repairs a phone while Sagar makes uncomfortable advances towards Meenu. Baa tries to get Dolly and Dimpy to help with cutting onions, but they refuse. Eventually, they agree, though they complain about their burning eyes. Anupama, always resourceful, gives them helmets to wear while cutting the onions, saying it’ll stop the tears. Baa muses, “If someone wants to do something, they’ll find 100 ways to do it. If not, they’ll find 1,000 excuses.”
Suddenly, Nandita slips, and Titu helps her up. Grateful, she thanks him, but Dimpy, feeling jealous, slaps Nandita in front of everyone. Titu is furious and yells at Dimpy. Anupama intervenes, demanding to know why Dimpy slapped Nandita. Dimpy angrily accuses Nandita of trying to woo Titu and claims Anupama is too busy with her romantic life with Anuj to notice. She further accuses Anupama of breaking families, including her own, and trying to separate her from Titu. Dimpy lashes out, accusing Nandita of trapping rich men for their money. Nandita is shocked by the allegations, and in her defense, Dimpy crudely suggests that Nandita’s husband must have left her because of an affair.
At this, Anupama slaps Dimpy, warning her to stop her baseless accusations. Anupama firmly defends Nandita and demands that Dimpy apologize immediately. Dimpy refuses, but Tapish steps in, apologizing to Nandita on Dimpy’s behalf. Nandita, visibly upset, insists she would never do something like that. Anupama consoles her, assuring her of her trust.
Dimpy continues her tirade, claiming Anupama values her adopted daughter and the residents of Asha Bhavan more than her own family. She even warns the people of Asha Bhavan that Anupama will one day break their trust, urging them to remember her words.
Back at the hotel, Toshu, full from eating, tells Pakhi they should rest before heading out for shopping. However, the hotel manager arrives, demanding payment. Toshu and Pakhi try to complain about the service, but the manager insists they settle the bill, telling them to take it up with customer service later. Toshu reluctantly agrees to make the payment.
Later, Nandita tearfully tells Anupama she’s not like how Dimpy described. Anupama advises Nandita to stand up for herself the next time someone makes such accusations. Nandita, comforted, hugs Anupama as the episode concludes.
