Iss Ishq Ka Rabb Rakha 20th September 2024 Written Episode Update
The episode starts with Meghla and Mahua visiting the temple to pray for Adrija. Meghla mentions that it’s Adrija’s birthday, and she wants the best education and career for her. Mahua adds that they should also pray for Adrija’s marriage, hoping she finds a good husband. Meghla reassures her, saying that Adrija will definitely get a good husband and a loving family. Mahua agrees, stating that she has raised Adrija with a lot of love. Though Adrija is short-tempered, she is also smart and intelligent. Mahua then points out that she raised Meghla with love too, but Meghla didn’t turn out as smart. She mentions how Meghla didn’t complete her studies and is now learning classical music, worrying about how she will manage in the future. They then pray together. Meanwhile, Param mentions that Ranbir is going to Darjeeling. Meher brings out some warm clothes for him, but Ranbir refuses, saying he doesn’t need them.
Dadi supports Meher, telling Ranbir that she’s right. Param mentions that the temperature in Darjeeling is around 16 degrees, so he should keep the clothes and wear them if necessary. Harman, sitting in frustration, says nothing. Param asks him what’s wrong, but Harman just says there’s no need to ask. Ashnoor and Aarav start fighting over a ball, and Harman scolds them, blaming Simran for being too busy with work and not teaching the kids properly. Ranbir steps in, assuring Harman that they will handle the kids. Harman, still upset, continues shouting at the children. Ranbir tells him to stop, and both Ranbir and Param offer to play with the kids. Harman, still fuming, complains that he doesn’t know when Simran will return. Meher explains that Simran is away covering an important news story. She then sends the kids off to take a bath.
Later, Mahua and Meghla return home and wish Adrija a happy birthday. Adrija argues with them, upset about something. They explain that they went to the temple to pray for her. Chandan comments that it’s good Meghla went to the temple. Meghla clarifies that her prayers were for Adrija. Mahua calms Adrija down and gives her a hug. Meghla, trying to lift the mood, brings Rasmalai for everyone and serves it. Chandan enjoys it, but Adrija refuses to eat, which saddens Meghla.
Meanwhile, Ranbir laughs as Meher suggests clothes for him. Meher insists that he wear them for her sake, but he playfully resists, saying he won’t get cold. Meher starts talking about Darjeeling, her hometown, calling it heaven on earth. She reminisces about her best friend Iravati, who used to live there. She shares some of her cherished memories of the place. Meher then mentions the tragedy that struck, explaining that she hasn’t been able to find Iravati since. Dadi curiously asks why. Meher explains that after she moved to Delhi for college, Iravati’s family relocated to Kolkata. Despite the distance, Iravati attended Meher’s wedding, and the two friends had even discussed the possibility of marrying off their children. Harman lightens the mood with a joke. Dadi asks where Iravati got married. Meher sadly replies that Iravati moved very far away and that they were never able to meet again. Iravati, along with her husband and child, tragically passed away in a train accident.
Meher becomes emotional, recalling the loss. Param, stunned, confirms, “You mean all three of them?” Meher nods and adds that her other friends shared this news with her. Ranbir, deeply sorry, expresses his condolences. Meher, shifting the conversation, suggests Ranbir visit the bungalow, church, and tea garden in Darjeeling, and he agrees.
