Rajveer is drinking juice when Palki’s dupatta gets stuck under his shoe. She approaches him, asking what’s going on. Rajveer, confused, realizes her dupatta is trapped under his shoe. When she mentions it, he says it’s beautiful. She explains it’s stuck, and Rajveer, while removing it, says his shoe seems to understand what’s in his heart. Palki, puzzled, asks what he means. He tells her the shoe understood that he doesn’t want her to leave because he hasn’t had enough time with her yet. Palki tries to leave, but Rajveer pulls her onto his lap. She gets nervous and asks what he’s doing. He replies, saying he’s simply loving her. Rajveer then asks how she feels about him, but Palki, caught off guard, tells him not to forget he’s Karan Luthra’s son. He responds, “Karan Luthra has two sons,” and adds that her name will be “Palki Rajveer Luthra.”
Palki blushes and admits she likes the sound of her future name. Rajveer teases her, asking if she also likes the man who gave her the name. Palki, flustered, tries to leave, but Rajveer still holds the corner of her dupatta. When he lets go, she tries to pull it, but the dupatta gets stuck again, making them both smile. As she walks away, Rajveer stands in front of her, leaning closer until she backs up against the decorations. He gently fixes her bindi, and they both share a smile before Palki finally runs off.
Meanwhile, Shaurya watches them from the balcony, feeling angry. He steps on Palki’s dupatta, tearing it. Furious, Palki confronts him, asking why he ruined her dupatta. Shaurya, unfazed, acts as though it was an accident. Palki accuses him of deliberately standing on her dupatta, treating it like a rug, and expresses her frustration with his arrogant behavior.
Elsewhere at the party, Karan notices Preeta observing everyone and approaches her. He talks about how significant this moment is, with both their sons finding life partners. Preeta agrees but reminds him that the real responsibility begins when the daughters-in-law enter their home. She emphasizes the importance of making them feel like part of the family, as they leave their own homes behind. Karan jokes that daughters get two families, but Preeta gently explains how hard it is for women to leave the homes they grew up in. Karan reassures her, saying that his family is hers as well.
As they talk, Karan asks Preeta who she likes most in the family. Preeta lists Rakhi, Kavya, Mahesh, Dadi, and Kritika. Karan, feeling left out, asks why she didn’t mention him. Preeta teases him, saying he just wanted to hear his name. Karan smiles, saying he enjoys hearing her say it, and they share a lighthearted moment. Preeta calls him her best friend, and Karan is delighted, shaking her hand and holding on to it a little longer than usual. As Preeta pulls her hand back and walks away, Karan smiles, thinking about their bond.
Meanwhile, Bi Jee, noticing the connection between Karan and Preeta, comments to Bani Dadi that there’s more than just friendship between them. Bani Dadi brushes it off, but Bi Jee insists that there’s something deeper. She decides to ask Daljeet to speak to Preeta about maintaining boundaries, given their family ties.
Back with Shaurya and Palki, she’s still upset over her dupatta. Shaurya, acting nonchalant, tells her it was just a mistake. Palki, frustrated, expresses her hatred for him and the situation. Sunny tries to calm things down, announcing a celebratory drink. Preeta advises against drinking, warning that it can ruin lives. Shaurya dismisses her concerns, saying it’s just for fun, but Preeta stands firm, saying even small drinks can have harmful effects.
Sunny announces that the couples should take the stage, and both Palki and Rajveer, along with Shaurya and Shanaya, join them. The drinks are passed around, and Nidhi watches intently as her plan unfolds. Rajveer starts feeling dizzy, but Shaurya smiles, knowing his plan is working. As Rajveer leaves the party, Palki notices and follows him, worried.
Shanaya, meanwhile, has already left the stage and is lying down in one of the rooms. Rajveer, stumbling into the room, tries to wake her up but fails. Nidhi and Shaurya, plotting in the background, are prepared to reveal their edited video, anticipating the chaos that will follow.
Palki, sensing something is wrong, rushes to the room but is stopped by well-wishers congratulating her. She finally breaks free and heads toward the room where Rajveer and Shanaya are. Nidhi and Shaurya, meanwhile, are ready to unveil the footage to the party guests, unaware that Palki is onto their scheme.
