Iss Ishq Ka Rabb Rakha 19th September 2024 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Meher saying she will attend to the guests. Balveer suggests Ranbir take a look around the hotel, and Ranbir compliments his excellent work, saying it always impresses him. Harman jokes that Ranbir prefers dhaba food, to which Ranbir responds by mentioning he’s about to leave for a 7-day trip. Balveer teases him, saying they’re getting older and suggests Ranbir should quit his job and focus on the family business. Ranbir laughs and says, “No way, you’re still young, handsome, and dashing.” He then heads out. The family starts talking about finding a match and getting Ranbir married.
Ranbir stops by to meet Dada and Dadi before they all head to the inauguration. The ceremony begins, and Meghla takes the stage to sing. Chandan arrives and blesses her. He gently asks her why she keeps hiding her talent when people talk badly about her, suggesting she should showcase her talent to the world. Meghla humbly replies that Adrija, her elder sister, means everything to her, and she can never hold a grudge against her words. As she sings beautifully, Ranbir admires the place, suggesting that they should plan a family trip. Harman is surprised and skeptical, saying that the family never goes on trips and it seems unlikely now.
Ranbir insists there’s always a first time, and Param joins in, saying it seems impossible. But Ranbir confidently says he can convince everyone, to which Harman challenges him to make it happen, saying the family is always busy. Ranbir takes it as a challenge. Harman, teasingly, tells him to go alone if needed. Just then, Balveer calls Ranbir over, overhearing the conversation. He advises Ranbir to drop the trip idea. Param adds, “I bet Harman won’t come on this trip.” Harman, feeling a bit hurt, says he will come, but laments that no one values his presence, his decisions, or has any expectations from him anymore. Ranbir quickly reassures him that the entire family depends on him.
Harman starts to open up, saying he never really wanted to get into the family business but was forced into studying business management. He expresses his doubts, saying it feels pointless to him. Balveer chimes in, telling Harman that his real issue is that he never truly appreciated their family business. He stresses that this business is both his and theirs, urging him to see it as his responsibility too. Zoravar agrees, telling Harman that the family counts on him. Harman’s wife, Simran, steps in and supports him, encouraging him to believe in himself. Harman, still feeling inadequate, questions if she really trusts him, hinting at their disagreements about raising their kids. Simran, frustrated, says this is too much, and walks away.
Meher enters and informs Harman that she’s put Ashnoor and Aarav to bed. Despite her efforts, Harman and Simran continue to argue, leading Simran to leave in frustration. Harman, upset, says to Ranbir, “Ask her to quit her job.” Ranbir tries to calm him down, gently taking him outside for some fresh air.
Balveer observes this and remarks that Ranbir is sensible, while Zoravar smiles in agreement. Meanwhile, Param shows everyone a video of Meghla’s singing, praising her talent. Ranbir watches the video and says he doesn’t know her yet but wishes he could meet her again someday.
