Parineeti 18th September 2024 Written Update
Sanju says, “I love it when you care for me.” Pari responds, “You lie a lot.” He grins and replies, “I’m not lying.” She says, “Your family cares for you a lot—Pami, Neeti, Gurinder.” He interrupts, “But I like it even more when the person I care about cares for me.” Meanwhile, Salojna tells Neeti, “Now even Babli isn’t listening to you.” Gurinder chimes in, “They are slipping out of your control.” Neeti, trying to maintain her composure, replies, “They won’t rebel against me. Don’t give them so much importance.” Gurinder warns, “But Neeti, you and Pami need to tighten things before they get out of hand.” Salojna adds, “Your influence is fading. Babli’s already ignoring you. Show them your strength.”
Back with Pari and Sanju, Pari brushes off his affection. “I don’t think about you. I don’t have time,” she insists. Sanju holds her hand gently and says, “But I know you’re lying this time. I can see you care for me.” Embarrassed, Pari pulls away, saying, “I never lie.” Sanju, unfazed, says, “But I know you do, at least this once.” Before he can say more, Pari leaves abruptly.
Meanwhile, Daljit’s goon gets arrested. He remains confident, saying, “They can’t keep me here long. Daljit’s the boss.” But Daljit, anxious, realizes the gravity of the situation. His friend informs him, “You’re not getting bail anytime soon.”
Pari, lost in her thoughts, hugs Dai Maa. “I feel like I’m falling apart,” she confesses. Dai Maa, concerned, asks, “What happened? You can tell me.” Pari continues, “I don’t understand myself. I keep thinking about Rajiv. Despite everything he did to me, I want to forgive him. I feel safe when he’s around, even though I know I shouldn’t. It’s like he could fight the whole world for me.” Dai Maa comforts her, saying, “Don’t cry, dear.” Just then, Sanju walks in and asks, “What’s going on here?” Pari, hiding her emotions, quickly says, “Nothing.”
Meanwhile, Daljit sits in his cell, frustrated. “I need to get out of here. Pari came and hit me, and that’s illegal!”
Later, Neeti confronts Babli. “What are you doing here?” Neeti demands. Babli, not backing down, responds, “I don’t owe you an explanation.” Surprised by Babli’s defiance, Neeti questions, “Who’s teaching you all this boldness?” Babli, her voice steady, says, “I’ve never been disrespectful to you. I always treated you like a sister, did everything you asked. But you made me your servant. You even risked my life, forcing me to marry Daljit. If it wasn’t for Parvati, pretending to be Pari, I don’t know what would’ve happened.” Neeti, furious, says, “Well played. You think you can fool me? I know it’s your sister Pari. Don’t forget, this house belongs to me. If you want to stay here, don’t you dare talk back. If you cross me again, your sister will pay the price. Now, apologize.” Reluctantly, Babli says, “Sorry.”
Sanju notices Pari’s teary eyes and asks, “Why are you crying?” Dai Maa intervenes, “Don’t worry, it’s nothing. Ambika scolded her a little, so she’s feeling down. I’ll talk to madam.” She gently takes Pari downstairs. Sanju, watching Pari leave, feels conflicted. Pari, in her thoughts, says, “I can’t let myself care for this man. He betrayed me.” Meanwhile, Sanju reflects, thinking to himself, “I wonder why I feel this way about Pari Parvati now.”
